Chapter 10 - Ashura Chapter -10

Phase one completes that Ashura voice make

The air hung heavy, thick with tension. "We have to hurry, Devi, before they reach the Eastern Village," Maya urged, her voice tight, her eyes scanning the horizon as the wind tugged at her hair.

Devi's brow furrowed. But… why are they heading east?

Maya's gaze darkened. Maybe their base is in that direction… or they're regrouping. Either way, they're moving with purpose.

Devi swallowed hard That means they're going to attack the Eastern Village. Both of them… they're in danger. They need backup. I hope we make it there in time.

Maya's jaw clenched. Hang in there. You guys—help is coming. Devi, faster!

"All right" Devi replied, determination hardening his voice.

Mine while in the Northern village

Indra's eyes scanned the chaotic battlefield.

"Watch out "Sun Lauder shouted.

An Ashura landed a brutal punch on Indra from behind, sending him crashing to the ground. Dust swirled around him, and when it cleared, Indra was already on his feet

"Man… that hurt," he cleaned blood coming from his mouth.

"Are you all right?" Sun asked, . He noticed the blood trailing from Indra's mouth.

"Yeah… I'm fine," Indra replied, voice steady but his eyes blazing. "But this… this thing is really making me angry."

One Ashura murmured, almost reverently, "As you wish… we will kill them both."

Indra's lips curled into a grim smile. "Oh, really? You really wants us dead? Well, but the thing is I'm going to kill you first. … Show me what you got."

Lightning crackled around Indra, the air humming with the raw power of his aura. The sky darkened, storm clouds boiling into existence, sensing the surge of energy.

"This kind of trick won't work on us ," Ashura growled. "Now I'll show you my speed."

The other Ashura, cold and mechanical in tone yet oddly human at the same time, charged with blinding speed. It was as if two voices spoke from a single body.

Indra tracked him effortlessly. "I won't fall for the same trick twice."

With a deft movement, Indra thrust his spear, pinning through the Ashura cheats to the ground. One down. His eyes glow

"Enough of this!" Sun shouted, fury erupting as he summoned his divine weapon—a molten chain. It lashed around the Ashura's arms like a living serpent. Within an instant, Indra jumped in with his spear the Ashura head full down the blood coming from Ashura unheard body

The last Ashura trembled, eyes wide with fear. I…I will do as you say

Indra and Sun exchanged a wary glance. "Seems your time is over, buddy," Indra said, his voice steady, unyielding.

"No… please… no…" the Ashura's voice cracked, a haunting mix of terror and pain.

Sun frowned. "Do you have any idea what's going on with him?"

Indra shook his head. "This isn't just his fault… they're… really strong. But what is he murmuring?"

"This… this is not my doing," the Ashura whispered. "Grant me power… and I will fulfill my duty…"

"Enough of this!" Indra roared.

A tense silence fell. The Ashura's hands twisted into a grotesque, unnatural shape. "Please forgive me," he murmured, voice pained, as if something else controlled him.

"Hey… are you talking to someone?" Sun asked, unease prickling his skin.

"With my master… no… master… please," the Ashura groaned, eyes rolling as if in torment.

Indra's voice sharpened. "Whatever it is, it doesn't matter. Stop hiding like a coward. Stand up. Fight us… or are you too afraid?"

The Ashura's lips curved into a cruel, uncanny smile. "My master says… you two are weak."

"Ha!" Indra spat, fury igniting his veins. "Oh, really? Give farewell to your puppet, because now… it dies."

The Ashura vanished from sight, leaving only the echo of his mocking laughter behind. "You're too slow. Catch me if you can!"

"Don't let him escape Indra " Sun bellowed.

Hey stop there you jerk Indra shouted. They both run after him.

In the distance, inside the temple, a different tension brewed.

"How many guardians are in our temple right now, Hari?" Lord Seven asked.

"Five… among them, some have already returned," Master Hari replied, his calm demeanor betraying nothing of the urgency.

"Is there any upper guardian other than you?" Lord Seven pressed.

"Fortunately… Miss Jun has come to visit her student," Hari answered.

Take her and other go east we have to save them I will contact with other and provide you back up as soon as possible

A sinister chill seemed to brush across the Eastern wind. Deva's struggle wasn't just physical—it was as if unseen forces were reaching into his very soul.

Back in the village, the Ashura's chains lashed around Deva's neck, tightening with cruel precision. Pain exploded through him, struggling to breath

Hahaha… kneel before me. Beg for mercy. I will free you from this pain

"In your dreams, this pain is nothing to me Deva growled through pain.

Then I will crush every bone in your body that Ashura said could

The chain rap around Deva's neck harder than before barely breathing while that Ashura is diverted towards Deva Karan managed to stand he cut through that chain with a dagger hiding in his back

and pointed an arrow towards that Ashura he said you took too much you know that.

The Ashura's eyes widened, shock flickering across his cruel mask. "How… did you break my chain?"

"I sensed the cold vibes in this village before we arrived," Karan said, confidence ringing in his voice. "I was prepared for this scenario."

"Free him… or I'll make a sweet little hole in your chest," Karan warned, unwavering.

"Oh, you really think your annoying little arrow can kill me?" The Ashura laughed, arrogance dripping from every syllable. "How pathetic. Let's see who dies first—you or this boy."

The grip around Deva's neck tightened. Pain surged through him like wildfire, and fear clawed at his mind. I can't… I can't let this happen…

Karan's eyes narrowed. With precise timing, he shifted the projectile of his bow mid-flight. The arrow erupted with a thunderous boom in midair, shattering the chain. Deva leapt back from the ritual circle, gasping for breath.

"Thanks…" Deva said, relief washing over him, though it was tinged with lingering dread.

Hahaha," the Ashura laughed, a chilling sound that echoed like broken glass. "You are… quite impressive."

"Sorry… did I interrupt your fun?" Karan asked, smirking slightly.

"No… you won't. Let's make things even more interesting," the Ashura replied, drawing twin scythes with a flourish, the blades gleaming ominously under the overcast sky.

Deva's relic transformed into a sword in his hands. Eyes locked on the Ashura, he felt his pulse quicken. Every nerve screamed in anticipation. Karan notched another arrow, aiming with lethal precision.

The Ashura's smile widened, a creeping, unnerving curve. "Let's start, then…" he hissed. His voice seemed to carry multiple tones, overlapping, as if more than one consciousness shared his body.

And then, with an almost imperceptible flick of movement, he lunged.

The battle had only just begun.
