I never believed I was special.
But I was.
Not everyone in this world is like me. There are people who are
cursed, just like me. Each person has a different curse, but most of
them don't even know what it is. They have to discover it
themselves.
I was at school. Mrs. Kaya was taking our class. It was extremely
boring.
I was staring outside the window. When suddenly, I heard something
strange.
Someone was laughing.
It wasn't human.
Then I saw it—a weird creature.
My body felt strange. Pain spread through me. I was bleeding. My
hands were covered in blood. Soon, my entire body was drenched in
it.
I had transformed.
I felt like I was dead.
I looked like a blood demon.
Everyone in my class screamed in fear.
My elder brother, Kairo, had once told me about curses, but I never
believed him.
Now, I understood.
My curse was blood.
After transforming, I ran out of the classroom and chased the
creature. I tried to kill it, but I wasn't strong enough at first. Still, I
kept fighting.
In the end, I killed it.
When I returned to class, everyone was frozen in shock.
I looked at my teacher and said calmly,
"Ma'am, everything is okay. You can continue the class now."
She couldn't say a word.
Finally, the class ended.
When I got home, I told everything to Kairo. He laughed and said,
"Finally, you believed."
"I also know what my curse is," I replied.
"What is it?" he asked.
"Blood."
Kairo became serious.
"You still don't understand it properly. The truth is, not only you—
everyone in our family has a curse. They're all different. My curse is
smoke. You need to awaken your power."
"Do you know where those creatures come from?" I asked.
"It's not confirmed," he replied. "But people say a scientist created
them."
"Then why hasn't anyone defeated him?"
"No one knows where he lives…."
