Tempest was in her living room looking at the documents scattered around her clear glass round table. She tied her hair into a high updo and wore a large white woolen sweater with white girly shorts. The house was empty of it's normal ruckus. The only person that stayed was Kaiden.
He refused to return to a household that he wasn't appreciated so decided to stay. He got out of the room to find his master keenly looking at the documents before her. He sat beside her, maintaining a safe distance and picked up some documents to look at.
"Why are you searching for dragonblood? Dragonblood? I heard the patriarch mentioned this name when he was discussing something with my eldest brother"
"Did you hear more?" Tempest asked and he shook his head.
That day when he heard that name being mentioned, he was on his way to receive the family punishment because of winning against his siblings instead of letting them win
The siblings had obviously made excuses to get him into trouble just because they lost. He had nothing to defend himself at that matter because everyone was against him in that household. He was merely alone
He heard them mention that name then further discussed in hushed tones when he passed by.
"When did you hear that?"
"Eight years ago" he answered calmly
Tempest sighed and rubbed her temples
"I'd have to infiltrate your family first then since that's close to anything else I've discovered"
"Why are you investigating about this family?"
"This is my family. I want to know everything that happened back then" tempest answered
"I volunteer to help my master in investigating" kaiden said placing his hand on his chest over his heart
"We'd have to be careful not to elert those who wanted it buried deep" tempest warned and he nodded
He became silent thinking about something then spoke up.
"Master, about the new star you are planning to purchase, can I also be in the management leading it?" Kaiden asked
"Your family won't allow it" tempest said
"Before we go to Galactica to buy it. I will cut ties with my family" kaiden said with resolve
"They won't agree to it easily"
Kaiden's expression became grim. He knew that his family will just toy with him and order him around. He knew that they would use him and in the long run refuse his request

Tempest saw the new mission and then sighed
"I will assist you with this problem. Don't you worry"
Kaiden perked up when she said those words. With his master's help, he will surely succeed in dealing with his toxic family. When he becames powerful and famous, he will make sure to destroy that family inorder to pay for all the bullying and torture they gave him. He vowed to destroy them himself.
"This disciple gives thanks to master!" He said then kowtowed.
"Since your family won't support you for tuition fees, I will also handle that! Just become more powerful to destroy them plus the enemies that will come"
"I vow to protect master with everything I have"
That night, when tempest stood at her ceiling to floor window staring at the night city, she felt a familiar presence from behind her.
She turned around and met the familiar emerald green foxy shaped eyes. He reached and held her waist. They looked at each other with a hidden tension. He hadn't wore a mask but felt like the face she was looking at was not his.
"I am wearing a face changer mask" he calmy explained when he saw the turmoil in her eyes.
"I missed you" she voiced out. She felt as if she wanted to know more about him. The mystery that surrounded him was intoxicating. He smiled.
