"Mister, I came to tell you something."
Seren said to Zain.
"I remember you." Zain said to Seren
"I wanted to say thank you for saving our life mister." Seren said to Zain while bowing her upper body in 90° angle.
Zain sat upright when he saw her bow.
"It's okay kid. Your mother called you Seren, right?"
Seren lifted her upper body up and looked at Zain. "Yes mister, my name is Seren."
Zain put his right hand on his chin, "Okay Seren. How old are you?"
"I'm 9 years old mister."
Zain looked at her and stood up. Zain checked her and decided to do something. He saw something on her when he used his ability.

Zain understood that she's never been trained or she has never fought anyone, that's probably why her Assessment is none. Zain saw something for the first time in her, it was not scary or beautiful but it was subtle.
"Okay Seren. Right now you can call me Lucas."
Zain talked with Seren about something that's unrelated to the present. He didn't talk about woodcutting, hunting or herb picking. He talk about silly things but Seren listened to him and laughed a few times. Zain even told a stories and Seren enjoyed each and everyone.
They didn't realise that it was already late but Seren was reluctant to leave.
"Seren, Where are you!" The voice of a woman was heard nearby. Zain noticed that it was Seren's mother looking for Seren.
"Seren I think it's time for you to leave." Zain said to Seren as he began to stand.
"Are you going to visit again?" Seren asked in concern and not towards Zain but towards herself.
Zain thought for a while until he decided to give straight answer. "I don't know. Here's a tip Seren, Never Make A Promise You Ain't Sure About Otherwise Tt's Tound To Be Broken."
Seren didn't get what Zain was saying but took notice of it.
"Oh,there you are Seren." The mother said to Seren when she was standing near the man who saved them.
"Good evening mister. My name is Serena, mother of Seren. Thank you for saving us." Serena said to Zain as she bowed 45° angle.
Zain thought of something, 'The mother is Serena and the daughter is Seren. Let guess, the granddaughter will be Sere.'
Seren looked at Zain and said "You just thought of something rude, didn't you?
"You wanna know something. I think quiet a lot but I don't know if my thoughts are rude or not." Zain said as he scratched his head.
Serena realise that it's about time to prepare for the celebration. She looked at Zain.
"Mister...? You haven't told me your name sir."
"You can call me Lucas."
"Mister Lucas, did anyone tell you what we're celebrating or what's going on?"
Zain thought for a while and realise that nobody has ever told him what's celebration all about.
"I only know it's a celebration but don't know what is it about."
They all began to walk towards were the celebration is going to take place.
"Let me tell you mister. Every moon, a village is attacked and villagers are kidnapped or killed especially the children are mostly kidnapped.
This celebration it's not a celebration of Joy, that's why they don't talk about it.
This celebration is not a celebration but a Call for Help.
We asked nobles and knights to help us bring our families home. We asked nobles and knights to help us find our families. No one help.
So, we ask the Gods every moon to help us. Sometimes twice in a moon. We don't even know if they hear us or not but we still try because if we still it means we gave up.
So do you think the gods hear us?"
Serena said every in a worried voice filled with helpless. Zain took a pause to think and thought of something to say.
"I think they hear you."
"Then why are they not helping us."
"I've never met Gods, let alone see one but I've read about them. The books says 'Gods help those in need' but I think you've all been disrespecting the Gods."
Seren and Serena were surprised when Zain said that. They stopped walking and looked at Zain for answers
"Why do you think that?"
"Probably because everyone prays to Gods while believing in other God. I don't know but that's what I thought." Said Zain and resume walking.
"I don't understand what you mean but I heard you. You probably mean at least we're trying."
They walked in silence after that and arrived at the venue. Serena and Seren left Zain at the venue.
The people were preparing a campfire, a log cabin fire. The campfire was probably 3-4 meters tall and everyone was coming together. Zain spotted Noll and Tuck coming with the meat.
Thomas came with a boy to the campfire and the boy used fire magic to light up the campfire. Thomas spotted Zain sitting alone and walked embarassed towards. Zain didn't walk away.
"Lucas, can I talk to you?" Thomas said to Zain
"What do you wanna talk about?"
"I'm sorry for trying to justify my words."
"It's okay. "
"I wasn't trying to sound rude and I'm sorry for sounding rude."
"It's okay Thomas."
Thomas and Zain talked for a while. At first Thomas didn't know what to say but Zain directed a conversation. They started talking about woods since Thomas is a lumberjack and talk about villages.
Someone cooked the meat on the campfire and passed it around to other people. Each person got a share. Seren spotted Zain talking with Thomas and went to him.
Thomas saw Seren coming towards them and excused himself. Everyone began to stand up, Seren held Zain's hand to stand up and celebrate.
~Whistle~
Zain was surprised when everyone started to whistle including Seren. Seren tugged at him to whistle and Zain followed. Zain whistle too but after few short moments everyone stopped at the same time.
There was dead silence for few seconds that felt like minutes went by. Everyone started marching around the campfire for a minute before they stopped and raised they're right hands up.
Everyone pointed at the campfire, they smile and did a weird dance with smiles on they're face. Zain mimicking the dance because Seren kept urging him to do it and because it looked fun.
They celebrated the entire night. Zain decided to sleep near the campfire and Seren slept besides him. Serena saw Seren sleeping besides Zain and decide to sleep besides her daughter too.
Zain saw them sleep besides him and decided to make the surroundings around them warm. He also made poisonous for mosquitoes and insects.
The poison won't affect humans. It's a weird magic he learned in the book by the title of [What's Needed but Not For Combat] and it's the same book where he learnt Clean Magic.
The morning came.
Zain woke up first and noticed that they're still sleeping. He used clean magic to bath and didn't realise something.
Zain looked at them and thought, 'Oh, it's because they're still under the radius. That's why they became clean when I used it.' Serena and Seren became clean as well as they're clothes when Zain used clean on himself without realising that they've been under his radius.
Zain kept lying down and waited for them to wake up. Serena woke up first and gestured to go to their home. Zain carried Seren in princess carry and headed to Serena's home.
They arrived home and Serena gestured Zain to lay Seren on the corner of make bed. Zain talked with Serena for couple of minutes. Seren didn't wake up it but Zain noticed something. Zain was about to leave, he stopped at the door and says, "This isn't the last time will meet... See ya kiddo."
Zain left the house and said goodbye to everyone in the village. Zain went to the forest.
*TELEPORT* [1]
He teleported near the kingdom's gate but not on plain sight. He showed his adventurer card and was allowed to pass.
Zain walked toward the guild and sense something.
