Chapter 3 : Devil and Goddess
Village Hidden in the Rain
One thing Naruto Phenex hated the most in the world is wasting time with weak enemies. After taking over Naruto Uzumaki's body, he decided to go after one of the most powerful enemies he ever faced in his previous life: Kaguya Otsutsuki.
The Phenex left a clone in Konoha to keep anyone from being suspicious, and he used a henge to change his appearance into more of a true Uzumaki with straight red hair and purple eyes.
"What are you doing here? " Deva Pein, aka Nagato and Konan, had both intercepted Naruto as soon as he entered the village.
"I came here to get the body of a fallen goddess, Kaguya " the Phenex answered, making Konan and Pein look at him like he was crazy.
"There is no goddess here. There is only one god here, and it is I, Pein, and my angel, Konan. " the orange-haired human puppet answered.
The Phenex looked at the two and wondered if they practiced posing and one-liners; they looked cool if nothing else, with Pein crouched down and Konan floating with her paper wings.
"Oh, you wouldn't know this, but the Gedo Mazo, the demonic statue of the outer path, " Naruto didn't get to finish his words before Konan and Pein attacked with killing intent.
"How do you know about that? " Pein demanded, and he used an almighty push to send Naruto flying, while Konan threw paper bombs after him.

Konan's paper bomb created a massive explosion. The Akatsuki pairs watched to see if the strange man was still alive, even though it was unlikely. To their surprise, he was still alive.
"As I was saying before, I was rudely interrupted. The statue is Kaguya's husk after the nine-tailed foxes were created from her chakra, " Naruto finished. He was unharmed; not even his clothes were wrinkled.
Pein was now more on guard; no regular person can just brush off his and Konan's attack like that and not be powerful.
"Who are you really? You are clearly no regular shinobi. " Pein stated with narrowed eyes. He had called out his other paths, and they were ready to ambush the strange man in front of him.
"I am a devil from the underworld that wants to conquer your world, " Naruto said dramatically, making Pein have an annoyed look.
"It doesn't matter if you tell us or not because you are going to die here, " Konan stated, as she too had reached the limit of her patience. This fool, expecting them to believe any of the ridiculous things he said.
"I guess it is time to get serious, " Naruto said, his voice and face lost all the playfulness, making Nagato and Konan nervous, even if they didn't show it.
"Almighty Push," Pein exclaimed, while Konan got to a safe distance. His attack destroyed the section of the village he was at, flattening it.
"Is that all you got?" Naruto asked from the sky above Pein, his Phenex wings of blue flames out as he floated.
"Pein, look out!" Konan's voice cried out as she watched her friend's body explode into blue flames.
"Azure Phenex combustion fist," Naruto said emotionlessly as he appeared in front of Konan with a fist of fire coming at her face.
The blue-haired beauty's life flashed before her eyes. She saw her childhood, from her family dying in the second shinobi world war to meeting Yahiko and Nagato and forming a new one.
Then the image of meeting Jiraiya and the other Sannin and the toad sage, agreeing to train the three of them to survive on their own without him being there, was some of the happiest memories she had until their teacher had to go back home.
Then came the death of her dear friend and lover Yahiko. They had used the skills they had learned from Jiraiya to build an organization called Akatsuki to bring peace to the Land of Rain, but it was not meant to be.
The blue-haired beauty had been captured by Hanzo, and he demanded the death of her beloved Yahiko at the hands of Nagato.
Nagato, of course, refused to kill his friend, but Yahiko forced his hands, literally and physically, but making the red-haired man stab him in his vitals, ending his life.
Nagato went berserk after Yahiko's death and rescued her, but the damage was done. They had seen the darkness of the world once more, with her beloved gone, taking all the light with him.
That was when a Uchiha appeared, calling himself Madara. However, she had her doubts that he was the real Madara Uchiha, as he would have been over a hundred years old. He offered them a way to bring true peace to the shinobi world.
The plan was to create a weapon of mass destruction using the power of the nine-tailed foxes. They would use this weapon against the enemies of any nation that paid them, creating unmeasurable chaos.
This will make everyone feel the same pain and fear so they can understand each other. The Akatsuki might become the enemy of the world, but at least the world would be united as one, breaking the cycle of hate.
Looking back on it now, as Naruto's flaming fist came closer to her face, they were just lashing out at the world that took so much from them. Maybe they should have chosen another path.
"Konan," Nagato cried, watching his only remaining friend's head turn to ash before she hit the ground.
"One down," Naruto stated as he looked at the five new opponents, all of whom had orange hair and piercing eyes, along with the Rinnegan. "Give me the Gedo Mazo, and I will let you keep your life."
"Die," Nagato was so lost in rage that he didn't hear a word of what Naruto said. He just attacked him with a fury he had not felt since Yahiko's death.
Four of his human puppets attacked Naruto while one went to Deva Path and revived him. Nagato would have gone to Konan first, but he knew that he would need his strongest path to deal with Naruto.
"Supernova," Naruto said, and a miniature sun formed in his palm. He released it on the human four puppets, and the attack increased in size the closer it came to them until it was massive.
One of the paths stepped forward and tried to absorb the attack, but to its shock, his hands melted off from the heat in a blink of an eye. All four paths were turned to ash.
"Are you going to come out, Nagato, or are you going to hide?" Naruto stated as he created a magic circle under Konan and teleported her away. "Let's play a game. If I win, you give me the Gedo Mazo. If you win, I will give you back Konan's body. I know you can revive the recently deceased."
Nagato weighed his options. He could fight this monster with all he had, but there was no guarantee he would win. He could also call the rest of the Akatsuki to help him, but his opponent could be spiteful and keep Konan's body until the time passed where he could revive her.
"I surrender," the Deva Path said in defeat, "I don't want to lose my only friend, even if it costs me my goal. I will come out, the real me, and give you the Gedo Mazo, but I want Konan's body back."
"Hmm, so you could be reasoned with, Nagato," Naruto stated as he waited for the real Pain to appear, and he did, in some machine with black rods coming out of his back.
The Phenex watched the half-dead looking Nagato, who was doing the same; they both sized each other up. Unlike the Rinnegan user, who had a time limit to revive Konan, Naruto had all the time in the world to stare at the human.
"Let's get this over with," Nagato declared. He had considered trying to double cross Naruto, but he didn't want to risk not getting Konan's body. "Summoning Jutsu: Gedo Mazo."

A massive amount of smoke appeared, and when it faded, there it was, the husk of Kaguya. Naruto could feel her imprisoned mind in the statue.
"If I didn't know any better, I would think Old Man Sage was a sadistic prick." Naruto stated aloud. Nagato heard this and raised an eyebrow. "Who would normally think about creating a seal that not only strips you of your own power but uses your own body as a prison for your mind and soul?"
"Give me Konan now," Nagato demanded in a scary voice, but Naruto just smiled. He decided to play along with the Akatsuki leader and did as he asked.
"There you go," Naruto stated as he summoned back Konan's headless body. He had also made several magic circles around the Gedo Mazo body to retain it and to prevent Nagato from dispelling his Summoning jutsu.
Nagato had his last two remaining paths bring Konan to him as he activated his jutsu to bring back the dead. Naruto was not interested in that, so he walked over to the Gedo Mazo with his queen piece.
"Kaguya Otsutsuki, the mother of chakra, also known as the rabbit goddess, is now mine," Naruto declared as his evil piece flew into the statue's chest.
Nagato was coughing blood as Konan, who had been successfully revived, tried to help him. She was glad that he cared enough about her to use the revival jutsu, but it had drained his life force.
Konan was about to silently flee with Nagato as he was weakened by the jutsu to the point she knew they stood no chance against Naruto. But she stopped when she saw what the Phenex did: a small object entered the Gedo Mazo, and from there, the statue twisted and contorted until it transformed into a pale, skinned woman with long white hair and the Byakugan.
"What the fuck," Konan exclaimed in school. Nagato was wide-eyed next to her, even if he was coughing blood. Naruto glanced at them, making the blue-haired woman tense, but thankfully he focused his attention back to what was the Gedo Mazo.
"Who are you, and what did you do to me?" Kaguya demanded as she quickly regained her senses. She had seen and heard all that had happened around her ever since her sons sealed her into her own body, but she could move under her own will until now.
"I am Naruto from the Phenex clan of the underworld, I am a devil and I transformed you into a devil too, which makes you my servant," Naruto replied as he watched Kaguya use her chakra to create a robe to cover her naked body.
"I am no one's servant," Kaguya scowled, a bone shot out of her hand straight to Naruto's head. He didn't dodge the attack; instead, he chose to take it. "I thank you for reviving me, but I can't die for being such an arrogant mortal."
"You're welcome, princess, and I am no mortal," Naruto stated as the bone in his skull was pushed out by his flames of rebirth. "And as for you being my servant, well, that's not something you can change unless you become a high-class devil."
Kaguya watched in shock as one of her most powerful attacks had no effect on the creature in front of her; he should have been turned to ash, but he was fine.
"How did you do that," Kaguya asked. She was more wary of the man now. She got ready to attack at a moment's notice.
"As I said before, I came from the Phenex clan, who have the power over wind, fire, and immortality." Naruto replied. The devil noticed that Konan and Nagato had quietly sneaked away; it was of no consequence for now; he would find them later.
"I release you by reincarnation as a devil or half-devil, but because of that, you are now my servant, and I am your master," Naruto explained calmly, dodging a barrage of All-Killing Ash Bones.
"I serve no one," Kaguya shouted in rage, Naruto guessed her pride wouldn't let her serve anyone, but in the end, he would break that pride with his overwhelming power.
Fast Forward
Location: ???
Naruto looked around the different dimension (a desert dimension) Kaguya had taken them to in their battle. She had tried to abandon him in one of the pocket dimensions when her attacks were not working. This didn't work because Phenex would just use teleportation magic to return to the original world, frustrating her.
