Chapter 4 - Chapter Three: A Predestined Encounter or a Chance Encounter?

After completing his intensive training at God Mountain and destroying his former stronghold, Ivan set out for Hochinso, a small town near the borders of the Oriana Empire. He entered the town and went straight to a guild bustling with adventurers and traders. After selling some of the treasures and rare items he had obtained from the mountain, he sat in a corner eating his meal and listening to the conversations around him.

Adventurer 1: "Our adventure today was quite arduous. I didn't expect to encounter such powerful and unknown beasts."

Adventurer 2: "The most perplexing thing is the Great Jura Forest. It seems no one has been able to cross its entrance. It's as if an unseen force guards it."

Waiter: "I've heard rumors that the guardians of that forest are Dark Elves. They are said to be very skilled in combat, especially with arrows."

Adventurer 3 (sarcastically): "Oh, just another legend. Nothing but tales told by cowards."

Ivan finished his meal quietly and left the guild, heading towards the road. He sensed a magical aura emanating from a mysterious shop, unnoticed by all but a select few. "That's a magical aura," he said.

He entered to greet the owner, who said, "Welcome." (He thought to himself, "Interesting, how did he notice this place?") Ivan began examining the magical tools and books, and the aura grew stronger. He looked around him gradually until a scroll jumped towards him, much to the shop owner's surprise.

The shop owner (with a mysterious smile): "This scroll is very rare. Only special people can see it."

(He thought to himself again: "Wow, it seems to have chosen me.") Ivan (calmly): "It appears to be sealed with a powerful spell."

The shop owner (astonished): "You're truly clever. Few people notice that."

Ivan: "I'll take it."

The shopkeeper replied: "First, I want to know if you deserve it or not."

Ivan looked at the shopkeeper, realizing he wasn't an ordinary person. He thought to himself, "This old man isn't ordinary. His magical power is cleverly honed. Who is he?" He wondered.

The two headed down into the shop's basement.

The old man stood before him and said, "To take it, you must fight this monster." The monster emerged from underground. Yes, it resembled the Minotaur he had defeated on God Mountain.

The monster began launching attacks at Ivan, who dodged them all under the watchful eye of the old man, who sat smiling, thinking to himself, "This makes me nostalgic, doesn't it, Eugene?"

Ivan looked at the old man and said, "You sly old man! The Sword Intura (Dimensional Cutter) attack!"

He defeated the monster under the old man's smile. The old man clenched his fist and said, "Eugene, it seems you'll finally meet him." (The Boy of Prophecy).

The old man handed the scroll to Ivan, asking him to read it there and then burn it. It was sealed with a magical technique that the old man had opened, for he could not obtain it unless he defeated the monster.

He began reading the information written about the legendary bird "Shura" and the fact that it had split in two, one half residing in the great Jura Forest, and the other in the mysterious continent of Aetheria. After he finished reading the scroll,

Ivan (in a deep voice): "The legendary bird... Shura... I will find you."

The old man bid Ivan farewell, and after he left, he permanently concealed the shop so that the soldiers of the gods, who were always on the lookout for any threat to their gods, could not find it.

Ivan continued his journey in search of more information. As he walked through the town, he came across an old man sleeping by the roadside. He approached him and asked gently:

Ivan: "Old man, do you know where the Jura Forest is?"

The old man (yawning): "The Jura Forest? No, I don't know where it is."

Ivan: "Thank you. I apologize for disturbing you."

As Ivan walked away, he noticed that the old man had begun to follow him at a distance. Ivan continued on his way, but when he reached the borders of the Oriana Empire and the Union Kingdom, he suddenly stopped.

Ivan (turning around): "How long will you keep following me, old man?"

The old man (smiling): "Don't worry, this is my path too. But I find you quite interesting, boy."

He thought to himself: So this is the boy of prophecy we've been waiting for. Well done, Dojimo.

The old man continued to watch Ivan and attacked him, but Ivan blocked the attack, saying: "What's the Two-Sword Style?"

He began to speak to him:

The old man: "I see you are a strong swordsman. What is your name, boy?"

Ivan: "Ivan. And you?"

The old man: "Gene Muto, are you ready to learn some combat techniques?" Ivan (coldly): "I don't need a teacher." However, Gene persisted in trying to persuade Ivan to accept his training, until he finally agreed. Ivan spent a whole year under Gene's tutelage, learning sword techniques and advanced martial arts. As time passed, Ivan became almost on par with Gene. Gene: The art of two swords has several uses. The first is the Two Sword Style Rashon (an attack where you can unleash multiple swords, up to a maximum of one million). The second is Rasputin (the fall of the silver star), which allows you to greatly speed up your attacks. The third is Hikarion (the eclipse of the cursed blades), which makes your enemy unable to control their senses. He taught him many of his different techniques. They lived together for a very pleasant time, and he became very close to Gene. Gene: Listen, I'll tell you something. I have a daughter who is a genius in swordsmanship, but she left me and went away. One day, perhaps you will find her, or rather, fate will... He'll find you both. I have work to do. Finish what I taught you in sword training.

Jin went off for a while, and we see him at the top of the Union Kingdom Castle talking to Ryohei and drinking together.

Jin: I've found an interesting heir.

Ryohei: Heir! For you?

Jin: That's right. When the time is right, you'll meet him, Ryohei. I want you to bring him into the academy so he can learn more. I don't have enough time.

Ryohei: I understand. (Smiles) So you've found the boy of prophecy, Jin.

Jin: That's right. It's him. You won't believe it. He uses the Two-Sword Style so skillfully and has an incredible aura. Despite his young age, he's truly a genius.

After some time, Jin returned, but something unexpected happened.

Signs of illness began to appear, and as the days passed, his health deteriorated. Ivan tried to find a cure, but all his attempts failed. In his final days, as Jin lay on the ground, he spoke to Ivan in a broken voice:

Jin (coughing): "Ivan... listen to me carefully." "Don't let my will die. I want you to be my heir."

Ivan (quietly): "You need to rest now. We'll talk later."

Gene (smiling): "There isn't enough time... From now on, you are my rightful heir. My name... my will... everything is yours, Ivan Moto. Listen to me carefully (coughs). One day you will know the hidden truth about my family. I just want you to know that we are enemies of the gods and have hidden ourselves for many years.

Ivan, you are the bearer of the will. Train. Don't tell them anything about your true identity. Only a few know. I have infused you with the blood of the Moto family. Become stronger, for it is your destiny to change the world and liberate races from those gods."

In a sorrowful moment, Gene breathed his last, his body slowly dissipating into thin air, leaving his great will in Ivan's hands.

Ivan (sadly): "Thank you, Gene. For everything." After Jane's death, Ivan continued his journey toward the Great Jura Forest, determined to confront the legendary bird Shura.

On his way to the forest, as he approached the borders of the Kingdom of Union, he encountered a large procession passing by, carrying the daughter of a nobleman from the Empire of Oriana. The procession was en route to the Kingdom of Union on a diplomatic mission, but Ivan's eyes were not on the procession, but on the forest that awaited him.
