Chapter 1:
The Smoke
Nine school friends are playing games together. Suddenly, one friend notices smoke behind us and says, "Hey, look… there's smoke."
Curious, we walk toward it. As we get closer, the smoke becomes thick. I start coughing badly. Suddenly, the smoke expands and surrounds us. We try to run, but the smoke pulls all nine of us inside.
Chapter 2: The Wormhole
Everything turns dark.
Our bodies feel extreme pain, as if we are being torn apart. We cannot see or hear each other. Time loses meaning. The pain continues endlessly.
After what feels like 5–7 hours, a bright light appears.
Chapter 3: A New Planet
We wake up on the ground.
The sky looks unfamiliar. Giant trees rise around us, and strange birds fly above, making unknown sounds. We quickly realize we are no longer on Earth.
After a few hours, we understand one thing clearly—we must survive.
Chapter 4: Survival
We hunt animals, search for food, and learn how to live in this dangerous world. Days pass slowly as we adapt.
Three days later, everything changes.
Chapter 5: Awakening
At night, strange powers awaken.
One friend is surrounded by wind. Others gain lightning, fire, water, and ice. One can teleport. One shoots lasers from his eyes. One can transform into anything.
Eight of my friends gain powers.
I don't.
Later, we understand the truth—the smoke was a wormhole. Passing through it caused unbearable pain, and from that pain, powers were born.
Chapter 6: Exploring the World
One of my friends transforms into a plane. We all climb aboard and begin exploring the world.
After flying for three hours, we see a small village and land nearby.
Chapter 7: The Village
We try to talk to the villagers, but their language is different. They look similar to us, but with small changes.
Suddenly, panic spreads. People start running. A small boy runs toward us, terrified.
Chapter 8: The Attack
A group of fifteen people attack the boy—and then us.
The first attack is aimed at me, the ninth one. I feel something strange inside my body.
My friends fight back. The attackers are weak compared to them. All are defeated. We are injured, but none of the injuries are serious.
Chapter 9: The Dominion of Ash
A gentleman who looks like the village leader steps forward.
"Who are you people?" he asks. "You are not from our village."
We are shocked when he speaks Urdu. He is the only one who understands us.
We ask him who the attackers were.
"They are members of The Dominion of Ash," he says. "They rule this world. They destroy villages and kill innocent people for fun. Wherever they go, only ash remains."
Chapter 10: The Ember Guard
The village leader continues.
"There is a group that resists them," he says. "They are called The Ember Guard."
He explains that The Ember Guard is small, made of survivors who refuse to submit. Because of their limited numbers, they cannot protect every village.
Then he looks at us seriously.
"If you truly came from another world," he says, "come with me. The Ember Guard needs your strength."
As we prepare to leave, I feel that strange sensation inside me again.
My power has not awakened yet.
But it will.
