The Next Day. Jujutsu High Training Ground.
Maki, Inumaki, Panda, White Zetsu, and Yuta stood together. Yuta looked slightly melancholy, still processing Rika's departure.
"Everyone! Look at me!"
White Zetsu ripped open his Akatsuki cloak, exposing his pale chest.
"BEHOLD! My newest underling!"
"You can call him... Caterpillar-chan!"
Wrapped around Zetsu's waist was a hideous, purple, worm-like Cursed Spirit. It had a disturbingly human face.
"White Zetsu!" Maki strode forward, brandishing her training staff. "What is wrong with you?!"
"The barrier detects Cursed Spirits! If you bring unauthorized curses onto campus, the alarm will trigger! Are you trying to get exorcised?!"
Panda stepped in to stop Maki from beating her "uncle."
"Relax, Maki," Panda said. "Zetsu isn't dumb. He wouldn't do this without permission."
"Exactly!" White Zetsu grinned. "This is part of the loot Mirai-boy got from killing Geto. The Higher-ups already approved it yesterday."
Zetsu patted the worm's head.
"This little guy is weak. Grade 4 at best. Even a toddler could squash him."
"But... his stomach is a masterpiece!"
Zetsu reached his hand into the worm's mouth. His arm disappeared up to the elbow.
Clang!
He pulled out a three-section staff linked by chains. It radiated intense Cursed Energy.
Special Grade Cursed Tool: Playful Cloud.
"See?" Zetsu bragged. "Geto's weapon. My little brother can store anything! He can even shrink himself to fit in my pocket!"
The worm shrank down to the size of a tennis ball. Zetsu popped it into his mouth and swallowed it whole.
"Storage is key!" Zetsu winked. "How about it? Isn't my brother awesome?"
Whoosh!
Maki snatched Playful Cloud from Zetsu's hand before he could finish posing.
"Mine," she said, swinging the heavy staff with delight. "This weapon suits me perfectly."
"Hey! You bandit!" Zetsu screamed. "Give that back! Panda, help me!"
"Sorry, Zetsu," Panda laughed, patting Zetsu's shoulder. "You can't use Cursed Tools anyway. Let Maki have it."
While they bickered, Zetsu's phone buzzed in his discarded uniform pocket. He didn't notice.

The Faculty Dorms.
Gojo Satoru stood in Mirai's living room.
"Zenin-sensei... are you really that afraid of death?"
Gojo laughed. "Not only did you demand a safety guarantee... you even forced me into a Binding Vow."
"Of course," Mirai stood up, straightening his black robe. "I don't trust you, Satoru. What if you decide to leave me in there for an hour? Or fry my brain permanently?"
"With a Binding Vow, if you violate the terms... the backlash will strip you of your Cursed Techniques. Even the Strongest can't ignore a Vow."
Mirai smiled.
"This way, you get Megumi. I get experience. And we both walk away alive."
Gojo smirked. "Fine. You really are petty."
He pulled off his bandages, revealing the brilliance of the Six Eyes.
Mirai's smile vanished. His pupils bled into the crimson Mangekyō Sharingan.
"Ready?" Gojo asked.
He crossed his fingers.
"Domain Expansion: Unlimited Void."
BOOM!
A surge of immense Cursed Energy exploded outward. A black sphere expanded instantly, swallowing the entire apartment building.
The walls turned to dust. The furniture vanished.

Mirai was floating in space.
Piano keys. A shattered lightbulb. A speeding train. A burning forest. A supernova.

"What was that?!"
Panda's ears perked up. A massive boom echoed from the faculty dorms.
"That Cursed Energy..." Panda's face went pale. "It's Gojo-sensei! He expanded his Domain!"
"Domain Expansion?!" Yuta gasped.
"That direction..." Maki gripped Playful Cloud. "Brother Mirai's apartment!"
"Is Mirai-sensei fighting Gojo-sensei?" Panda panicked. "If he gets caught in Unlimited Void... he'll be brain-dead in seconds!"
"Maki! Can Mirai-sensei use a Domain?"
Maki hesitated. She didn't want to reveal clan secrets. But seeing Panda's fear, she spoke.
"Years ago... I saw something."
"A colossal, ancient tree appeared in the estate. It connected heaven and earth. But it vanished in seconds."
"That might have been his Domain."
"Let's go!" Panda shouted.
They sprinted toward the dorms.
White Zetsu scrambled to pick up his clothes. "Wait for me!"
He ran after them, putting on his pants.
Just as he stepped out of the training ground gate...
Buzz.
His phone vibrated again.
White Zetsu's vision suddenly went black.
His connection to the Gedo Mazo... flickered.
