Gu Chenyu arrived home and freshened up.

"Aren't you supposed to be asleep?" He asked her.
"I can't sleep peacefully, if you won't sleep I won't sleep either" she said sitting down next to him.
"What a little smarty pants you are" he teased ruffling her hair.
Shen Rui hugs him.
Gu Chenyu was taken back by the sudden hug and he pats her back.
"You consoled me earlier so now it's my turn to console you" she said to him.
"Well we both can't leave without Mommy so we just have to console ourselves and pray for her to come back" Shen said.
"You've been here for a few months and you can't live without her" Gu Chenyu said to the little one.
"Well she's my mommy and every child needs their parent" she said to him.
"Why are you so attached to her?" Gu Chenyu asked.
"I don't know" Shen Rui replied scratching her head.
"She's the only one who considered me and was kind to me"Shen Rui answered.
"You're a smart kid thank you for understanding" he smiles ruffling her hair.
"Daddy Chen you look tired, you should get some rest too" Rui Rui suddenly acted cute again yawning and stretching in his arms.
"I'm going to bed goodnight Daddy Chen " she said walking away and closing the door.
Gu Chenyu shook his head and kept holding unto Lin Meiyin's scarf.

Gu Zihan had come home and Lin Xuewei waited all night for him.

The bathroom door slowly opened and Gu Zihan steps out of the bathroom in a white bathroom.
Lin Xuewei opens her eyes and yawns.
She rubs her sleepy eyes and called out his name coquettishly.

"I made dinner" she said to him.

"You should get some rest we'll be leaving by the morning I promise to make it up to you" he said tucking some hair behind her ear.
