"Maria! Are you there?!" I heard someone call my name from outside. The voice sounds familiar but I'm sure it ain't came from Yeshua. "Maria!" and he called me again. Yes, it's a he.
And so, I went to the window of my bedroom and looked at who was calling for me. Behold, the Jonas brothers. Their father is named Jonas and to tease them, I call them Jonas brothers."There you are!" said Simon while he was looking at me at my window. His brother, Andrew, is with him also. "What now!?" I asked, slightly irritated. I haven't even finished arranging my things!
Andrew pointed out something at the garage. "Who's bike is this?" asked Andrew. "And who is the guy Andrew told me that you were with earlier!?" asked Simon. Oh, right. Since I'm the only girl in our friend group, they are all protective over me. I hope you hear what I'm saying in my mind, Yeshua. Wherever you are right now.
I didn't answer the questions of the Jonas brothers, instead, I quickly packed my things then ran out of my room. Then I went downstairs and I got out of the house where I entered earlier.
"Maria!" Thank goodness our neighbor is used to Simon yelling my name every single time that he's in the neighborhood.
"Alright! Alright!" I yelled back at Simon and then I looked at them irritably. "And now you're the one who's irritated?" asked Simon while his eyebrows are raised, his arms are crossed, and his head is nodding. The Jonas brothers are looking at me.
"What?" I asked.
"You know what!"
"Whose bike is this, Maria?" asked Andrew. Before I answer his question, I scan our surroundings. No Yeshua spotted.
"Oh, that's mine." answered Yeshua. I quickly turn my head to the right while the Jonas brothers quickly turn their head to the left but we see no Yeshua, only the tree trunk in our front yard.
"I'm-I'm up the tree." said Yeshua, and so the three of us looked up and Simon uncrossed his arms. What are you doing up there? Yeshua chuckled while He's looking at me.
"Who are you? Why are you at Maria's tree?" asked Simon to Yeshua as he crossed his arms again. But before Yeshua can even answer, Andrew is hitting Simon on his arm. "Hey! Stop it Andrew!" said Simon, irritated.
Yeshua chuckled again. "Doesn't he seem familiar to you?" asked Andrew, making me look at him and see that he cannot take his eyes off Yeshua. "Why would he seem familiar to me? I don't even know him." whispered Simon to Andrew.
I just rolled my eyes at them and came closer to Yeshua. "Wha-?! Maria! What are you doing!?" asked Simon and he attempted to stop me from coming closer to Yeshua but Andrew was able to stop him first.
"Let go of me!"
Yeshua then got off the tree and stood in front of me. I heard that Simon stopped forcing himself out of Andrew's grip as soon as Yeshua went down the tree. "He's huge, Simon," said Andrew. And so I faced the Jonas brothers again with Yeshua behind me. "Guys. This is Yeshua. Yeshua, that one who's holding the other is Andrew and the one that's being held is Simon."
