"So are you going to tell us WHY are you wearing Mark's coat so early in the morning?" Simon asked, making me look at him, who was still sitting on the bed with his arms crossed. "Did she…?" Jaime asked and I'm pretty sure he asked Tabitha and she nodded in response.
"'Did she' what?" John asked. "Ain't no way you wore that coat in your sleep." Andrew said. I just kept my eyes on Simon to see his reaction. "Did you?" Simon asked as he nodded at me. I took a deep breath, "Yes." I answered then Simon suddenly looked away from me. Oh, please don't let it be Mark. Please don't let it be Mark. Then someone cleared their throat. Oh, no…
"Bre–" his voice cracked, making him clear his throat again, "Breakfast will be served in 6 minutes." Mark said then I heard footsteps of walking away. "Do you think he heard it?" Tabitha asked. My whole body just… froze."Maybe. His voice cracked." Jaime.
"Do you really think he likes Maria?" John. "I don't know. But according to your brother, he does." Andrew. "Alright, alright. You all heard the man," Simon said as he uncrossed his arms and stood up from the bed. "Let's get outta here so that these girls prepare themselves for breakfast." Continued Simon as he began to walk toward me.
"Do not wear Mark's coat during breakfast. I'm certain he'll be joining us for breakfast." Simon said to me with a grin then walked away. Well, clearly I have no face to face Mark anymore! This is so embarrassing! And so I quickly ran to the bathroo— I DIDN'T EVEN REMOVE MARK'S COAT! I quickly removed the coat and washed my face.
Someone then knocked on the bathroom door. "Maria," Tabitha called. I didn't answer, instead dried my face. "I'm sure Mark didn't hear it!" Tabitha continued from the other side of the door. I sighed and opened the door while holding Mark's coat.
But not even a minute, Tabitha pulled me by my wrist. Before we even got out of the bedroom, I quickly throwed Mark's coat to my bed. Oh, this woman!
Then we arrived at the dining area where Yeshua is helping the room service place the dishes on the table. "Teacher!" Tabitha called as she kept on pulling me. "Hi girls! Didn't Mark tell you that it'll be 6 minutes before breakfast is served?" Yeshua asked as He walked closer to us. "He did. But Maria, right here, is getting anxious." Tabitha said as she presented me to Yeshua.
I chuckled nervously. "No need to be worried, Maria." Yeshua said with a soft smile. I sighed. How can I not worry? This is the first time I had these kinds of feelings for someone! It's so frustrating and worrying! And I think he heard what I said and saw what I looked like earlier!"Don't tell me you're talking to Teacher with your mind," Tabitha whispered to me, making me look at her with worry. "You are." Tabitha said to herself.
Yeshua chuckled while looking at Tabitha then He looked back at me. "Can you, by worrying, add a single hour to your life?" Yeshua asked, making Tabitha look at Him with excitement. "The sermon at the mount!" Tabitha said excitedly, making Yeshua laugh. "No. What is 'the sermon at the mount'?" I answered Yeshua and asked Tabitha while looking at both of them.
Tabitha quickly held my shoulders and made me face her. "What the Teacher just said is written in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 6 and maybe verse 26 or 27… I'm not sure. I just can't believe He just said that! Again!" Tabitha answered as she shook me. Dizzy. Dizzy! Yeshua gently touched Tabitha's hands and removed her hold of me. Thank You, Yeshua.
"Tabitha, why don't you help us with the dishes." Yeshua said to Tabitha as He smiled at her. She nodded and walked towards the serving cart as Yeshua let go of His hold on her. "You do not need to worry, Maria." Yeshua said to me with a smile and continued placing the dishes on the table. I sighed and decided to trust His words and help them.
