Hello again. First of all, thank you for completing the 100th chapter. It's definitely not easy to pick up a fanfic after like two months of hiatus and continue it. Anyways. The author is just here to tell you about the direction we will be taking in the future.
First of all, don't take the prologue for a real chapter, because the vision I had back then has now changed after the hiatus.
A few things I would like to mention, consider it spoilers, but then again, almost everyone who has read this novel knows the story of the Mahabharat anyway. Just wanted all of you to keep them in mind while you continue reading future chapters.
1) Harem expansion to more wives. So far, including the deceased first wife, all of them are OG characters. But from now on, existing characters of the epic will also join his harem. First, it may seem like our MC is collecting girls like he was collecting Pokémon or something, but it is important for the plot, although not in this upcoming arc, but much later. (Draupadi will not be a part of this. So, nothing to be worried about.)
2) We are giving Duryodhana a new path, which is neither a good nor an evil path. The same goes for the Pandavas. Even their unity is not guaranteed from what's about to happen later. And no guarantee about the end either. It can be Duryodhana or Yudhisthira; anyone can win the throne in the end.
3) At the present stage, we will keep strictly to the Mahabharat conflicts at the human level only, but in future volumes, they will become bigger, involving devas and asuras too.
4) I made Karna too strong as of now, and there is now backing from here too. I don't intend to nerf him all of a sudden with some curse and make him defeatable or something. Sometimes, he could go toe to toe or defeat certain individuals that might seem impossible in the original epic, but that's just how a fanfic goes.
5) Some might wonder what happened to those twins that Karna had from his first marriage... The kids' arc isn't here yet. Their plot will come years later... and yes, his kids will be involved in the plot... well, not all, but some of them for sure.
6) The Updates will be 7-10 chapters/wk.
7) As the story progresses, I will edit and update this chapter with more details.
