One day Chris was lost in the woods and he met Nathaniel there, a boy who knew the woods like the back of his hand. Nathaniel was a poor boy who lived with his parents and he was four years. Chris was billionaire's son and he was ten years. The reason why Chris was lost was because he never went out alone and he never left his family's mansion. He was out picking flowers for his mother cause it was her birthday and he wanted to give her something different other than the flowers in their garden.
Chris was looking for a way to go back home but he couldn't so he sat down and started to cry right at that moment Nathaniel was walking by, he was going to pluck herbs and he saw that Chris was crying so he asked what's the matter with him. So Chris told him that he couldn't find his way back home.
Nathaniel asked him where his house was so Chris explained where it was. Nathaniel knew where that was so he took him home from that day on they became friends and they met each other to play. One day Nathaniel asked Chris if he wanted to marry him and he said yes. They didn't care about their backgrounds and their age gap even though Nathaniel was a Beta and Chris was an Omega.
They loved each other and that's all matter to them. But what they didn't know was that they were going to get separated from each other very soon. When Nathaniel was six years old and Chris was twelve years old. Chris had to move to America because of his father business.
After twenty years they met again, but there was a problem one couldn't recognize the other but the other could. It was a bitter sweet reunion for Nathaniel because his long awaited fiancée wasn't the same anymore.
Why was it a bitter sweet reunion for Nathaniel? Because he was happy to see Chris and sad because Chris couldn't recognize him. Now Chris was the CEO of the company and he was just his assistant. Nathaniel became his assistant because he was hoping that Chris wouldn't forget about their promise and him.
But now he can't quit because he is still hoping that Chris would recognize him someday. Chris was hanging out with high class people and everytime Chris had to attend a business party Nathaniel had to go too because of work and everytime he became more insecure in their relationship.
Nathaniel thought to himself " maybe I should forget about our engagement because we were just kids back then. And we're from two whole different worlds he belongs somewhere I don't belong".
