2:17 AM.
The city wasn't sleeping it was only acting.
Streetlights flickered,A few lights glowed in the windows of flats.Phone screens were still alive.
But in that moment,....
The sound stopped abruptly.
No car horns,
No barking dogs,
Not even the constant hum of the city.
Anie sat alone on the bus stop bench.
Phone in hand,The screen was on.
But there was no network.
"No Signal."
She didn't check the connection,Because this wasn't the first time.
She let out a small breath.
"Uhh"
It vanished into the cold air. That's when she heard it a sound,Not a shout.
Not words a pull Not in her ears In her mind.
Anie stood up.
The bus stop was empty across the road,An old building.
A place most people ignored She had no reason.
To go there.,But her feet Decided before she did.
The building's gate was open It was supposed to be locked.Every single day As she stepped inside, Her phone vibrate
[ Buzz. ] A notification.
No sender,No number,Just one line:
"You hear us because you don't belong."
Anie's hands shook.....
"Who is this?"
She whispered into the silence The message deleted itself. The phone went back to,,,
"No Signal."
Inside the building,Staircases stretched upward.
No lights, But Anie could see.....
This wasn't fear,,,,,
This was… familiarity....
She stopped when she reached the third floor. On the wall,Vague markings.
Not graffiti,,Not a language,,
But to her,They held meaning...
"Have you come again?"
A voice asked.
There was no one there.
"I didn't call,"
Anie said....
"And I didn't come."
Laughter!! [HAHA]
It wasn't a human voice, Nor was it a machine.
"One does not come because they are called,"
The voice said.
"The call simply finds those who can hear it."
The lights flashed on all at once,The lights flashed on all at once.
The walls didn't change,, But the place did.
This wasn't a building, it was an interval A place where reality.
And whatever lies beneath it Breathe together.
"You are a glitch,"
The voices said.
"This world was not built with you in mind."
Anie smiled.It wasn't a smile of happiness,
It was a smile of agreement.
"I know," She said.
"That is why you are speaking now."
For a moment,Everything went silent.
Her phone vibrated again Now, a new screen.
No apps.....
No time....
Just one button:
ACCEPT CALL!!!
"If I press it?" Anie asked.
"Then the old life will no longer exist,"
The voice said.
She looke at the screen, Then.....
At the world around her, She had never
Belonged to this world anyway.
She pressed the button...
The screen went black...
In the city, the sound returns.
Traffic, horns, lights...
The bus stop was there again, But she knew.
From now on,the world would notice her Because...
Those who accept the call
Never Remain invisible......
