Chapter 1 - Know The Characters~

THE ROYAL PALACE OF WESTMINSTER

**Linda AMA**: A mafia baddie from 2026 who was reborn in the body of King Henward XVII.

**King Henward XVII**: A 17-year-old young man, son of late Queen Victoria and late King Henward XVI who is raised by Lord Chancellor Kiwi, his uncle. He is about to be sworn in as king but holds a fictitious but preparatory position as Lord Throne.

**Queen Matsheget Urzan**: (pronounced MAT-SHII-GAT) A foreign 14-year-old queen from an uncommon but rich nation; Urzan (Pronounced YOUR-ZAN). She is the newest and eighth wife to the king married to the king for benefits and not love. She has her roots traced to magic as she is from Urzan. 

**Princess Matilda**: The king's childhood friend who is also his first wife.

**Lord Chancellor Kiwi**: The king's uncle and the chief adviser of the throne, head of the royal council and holder of the great Seal. He is the most powerful man in the council. He is said to be the king's mother's brother who is the best friend of the king's father but the truth is, he was the special knight of the king's mother who she had an affair with before her death. He has no blood relation to the king.

**Lord Chamberlain Butterworth**: Lord chancellor's eyes and ears. The Lord in charge of the king's household, servants and personal affairs.

**Madam Diana**: An older woman who manages the king's harem and inner chambers.

**Knight Avarice**: The king's best friend and personal guard.

RELATIONS TO ROYAL FAMILY

**Princess Caroline**: The king's aunty who dotes on him. She is his father's older sister. 

**His Majesty, King Eldridge**: The king's grandfather who stays in an isolated palace in Wales.

**Prince Edward**: Lord Chancellor's son. No one knows at first that he is the stepbrother to the king as the king and he shared the same mother. According to historical books, he rules England after Henward is disposed of and locked up as mad, because he is the desired king of the whole of England.

**Prince Edgar**: the Lord Chancellor's second son.

**Prince Thomas, Prince John and Prince Petrović**: Sons of princess Caroline and the last, her husband's relative from Croatia.

**Duke of Lancashire**: The king's rival and Edward's friend who has his eyes on the king's harem. Particularly on the king's third wife, Princess Thelma.

**Duke of Yorkshire**: Edward's rival and the rebel brother to the seven Queen of the king, Princess Annalise.

**Prince Philippe of France**: The king's rival who is the heir to the throne of France. 

**Princess Barbara**: Second wife of the king and the daughter of a relative of Princess Caroline's husband.

**Princess Thelma**: Third wife of the king.

**Princess Olivia**: Fourth wife of the king.

**Princess Fidelity**: Fifth wife of the king.

**Princess Rapunzel**: Sixth wife of the king.

**Princess Annalise**: Seventh wife of the king.

**Cardinal Bethel**: One of the trainers and teachers of the king and the princes and the heirs of the nobles.

GLOSSARY

The Royal Government Skeleton:

Royal Court / King's Council: The central body that assists the king in ruling the kingdom. The King is at the top, with senior nobles and officials advising him, enforcing law, raising armies, and managing royal affairs. The council has overlapping authority, with some positions purely ceremonial, others highly influential.

Lord Chancellor: Chief adviser of the King and keeper of the Great Seal. Oversees court administration, law, and the drafting of royal edicts. Considered the most powerful official after the king.

Lord Treasurer / Lord High Treasurer: Oversees the treasury, taxes, land revenue, and royal finances. Controls allocation of funds for wars, constructions, and court expenditures.

Lord Steward / Lord High Steward: Responsible for management of the royal household, palace ceremonies, and maintaining court etiquette. Oversees domestic operations of the palace.

Lord Chamberlain: Manages the king's private chambers, personal staff, and daily affairs. Controls access to the king and ensures security within the private quarters.

Lord High Constable: Senior military official in charge of the army and defense of the realm. Oversees appointments of captains, fortresses, and military campaigns.

Household Knights / Royal Guards: Personal army loyal to the king. Protect the palace, royal family, and enforce court security.

The Church Government Blueprint:

Church of England / Royal Ecclesiastical Offices: The spiritual authority within the kingdom, advising the king and educating the royal family. While politically influential, they operate under both spiritual and secular expectations.

The Pope: Supreme head of the Church, responsible for legitimizing royal authority, approving coronations, and settling spiritual disputes. Based in Rome.

Cardinals: Senior clergy who advise the king and oversee regions of the Church. Often serve as teachers, diplomats, or political advisors.

Bishops: Regional leaders of the Church. Some hold seats on the King's Council as Lords Spiritual, participating in political discussions and decisions.

Royal Priests / Tutors: Assigned to educate royal children, supervise religious ceremonies, and manage palace chapels.

Judiciary

Court of Judicial Review: The highest legal authority, responsible for oversight of justice, arbitration of noble disputes, and legal appeals. Works in conjunction with the King's Council.

Government Officials

(Only the most relevant positions are listed here; minor positions and local officials are not included until needed).

Official Ranks: Nobles and officials are ranked by influence and seniority. Higher-ranking officials (dukes, earls, and lords) hold more sway in the council; lower-ranking officials (knights, clerks, and chamberlains) manage day-to-day duties.

Lord Chancellor: Head of the council, oversees law and administration.

Lord Treasurer: Head of royal finances and revenue collection.

Lord Steward: Oversees royal household, ceremonies, and court etiquette.

Lord Chamberlain: Oversees the king's private quarters, servants, and internal palace security.

Lord High Constable: Commander of the army and fortifications.

Bishops / Lords Spiritual: Serve on council and advise the king on moral, religious, and political matters.

Cardinals: Senior church officials with influence in court and educational roles, including tutoring royal children.

Knights / Royal Guards: Protect the king and enforce law and security.
