She looked back at the towering girl kneeling before her and let out a low whistle.
"She's a living mountain… a real alpha. All those traits settled perfectly within her. She's the ideal body to carry the power of the Dire Drake."
Maddy studied her daughter for another moment, clearly satisfied.
"Strong bones, overwhelming might, and the instincts of a predator… yes. You were built exactly the way I hoped."
Then she gently tapped Dyralfa's shoulder.
"Dyralfa, stand. It is time to meet your brothers."
Dyralfa rose smoothly to her full height, towering over the chamber like a living fortress. Her slit pupils shifted calmly, waiting.
Maddy gestured to the tall, six armed figure standing nearby.
"This is Arach, your eldest brother. He was the first chimera child I brought into this world."
