Damian's mood was ruined after meeting Officer Brian.
He reminded him of Brian who was always on his tail in his past life.
Both of them were nothing but idiots in his opinion.
That guy always cared about justice.
But never understood that he was just a tool in the hands of the ones who did injustice to the world.
'The law, the order, the governments… all are man made. Who gets to decide what is wrong?
What is right and what is wrong? Everything just depends on benefits.
This moral preaching is only done by idiots.
Even in this world where they send teenagers below 20 years old to battlefields, they still care so much about me killing.
So what if I killed my enemies? What the fuck is even wrong here?
Oh no~~ I just tortured a terrorist leader because that son of a bitch tried to blow my sister's brains out.
Useless pieces of shit. Can't even protect people but love to judge others.'
The more Damian thought, the angrier he became.
His Aura also started leaking out and all who looked towards him saw a cold looking guy holding an axe while radiating an eerie Aura.
As he was moving back towards his dormitory, all students who came across him, avoided him completely.
Just when he was about to enter the entrance of the dormitory, a hand was placed on his shoulder.
"You don't look well, junior Damian. Something happened?"
There she was again. Damian couldn't understand how she always managed to sneak up on him.
"... Met with the therapist from SFD."
"Ah, I see. But don't think too much. Even your Aura is feeling very restless."
Elizabeth pointed her finger towards the disappearing traces of his Aura.
"Sorry."
"Don't mind all this. I came to take you to the Student Council.
You agreed to join us previously, remember?
Also, give me that axe of yours. I will keep it in my space ring for now."
Looking at the Purple haired beauty with a radiant smile on her, Damian sighed as he controlled his emotions and went along with her.
****
The Student Council building was situated at the center of the Academy.
As soon as Elizabeth and Damian entered the Council room where important meetings were held daily.
Damian saw many powerful seniors already sitting there including Liam Evergreen and Victor Cross.
Victor Cross was a second year senior, he was the strongest student in his year and was from an Imperial Family as well.
He was also the one who was about to take Damian down at the orientation but was stopped by Elizabeth.
His face was looking quite irritated as he eyed Damian.
Micheal Thorne was already present there as well. He nodded slightly towards Damian, who also gave a slight nod back.
'So, he was invited to join the council as well. Elizabeth told me that the First year has two quotas in the council. We must be the ones joining.'
He found a chair for him to sit beside Micheal as Elizabeth moved towards the head seat at the front of the table.
"Good evening, everyone. I gathered you all today to welcome the first year students joining us in the council.
They will be the first ranked Damian Valcor and the second ranked Micheal Thorne."
As Elizabeth introduced Damian and Micheal, both of them stood up to give a respectful nod towards all the seniors gathered.
Then she rested both hands lightly on the table as her purple eyes scanned everyone present.
"Since both of you will be working with us from today onwards, I'll introduce the full council structure first."
She gestured toward the left side of the long obsidian table.
"Our Student Council has thirteen members in total. Including the two of you."
She then turned slightly.
"You already know our Vice President."
Liam Evergreen leaned back casually in his chair, arms crossed behind his head.
His green hair was slightly messy. Emerald eyes filled with lazy confidence.
"Vice President, Liam Evergreen," Elizabeth said calmly.
Liam gave a half smirk.
"Try not to create too much of a mess in your first year, juniors. Paperwork is annoying."
A few seniors chuckled lightly.
Elizabeth then pointed toward a massive built man sitting two seats away from Liam.
He looked like he belonged on a battlefield, not inside a meeting room.
With jet black hair slicked back. He had a thick neck and his shoulders felt like reinforced armor plating.
His presence was silent… but oppressive in a grounded, crushing way.
"This is Chairman of the Clubs Committee – Gareth Blackwood."
Gareth's dark eyes moved slowly toward Damian.
"So you're the one causing noise in the academy already," Gareth said in a deep voice.
Elizabeth continued smoothly.
"Vice Head of Clubs Committee – Victor Cross."
Victor leaned forward slightly, fingers interlocked, chin resting on them.
His sharp brown eyes locked onto Damian. He was the strongest in the second year.
"So the academy really did give you a seat," Victor said flatly.
"Let's see if you can keep it."
Elizabeth didn't react to the tension.
She simply moved on.
"Michael Thorne will be joining the Clubs Committee as well."
Michael gave a small nod.
"I look forward to working with all seniors."
Victor gave a faint scoff.
"We'll see if you keep that tone after field duties."
Michael didn't respond.
But his golden eyes didn't waver.
Elizabeth then shifted her attention to the opposite side of the table.
"And now…"
"Head of the Disciplinary Committee."
Everyone's posture unconsciously straightened a little.
A petite girl sat there.
Short. Slim. Almost fragile looking.
But her straight-cut jet black hair framed a face that had zero softness.
She had cold grey eyes that seemed completely emotionless.
Like someone who had already decided how the world should work – and would enforce it.
She was also a Fourth year student. Other than her, the only fourth year student present in the student council was Gareth.
"Arielle Voss."
She spoke without standing.
"Damian Valcor."
Her voice was soft but sharp enough to cut glass.
"You will be joining my committee."
Elizabeth nodded, clearly Arielle had already informed her.
"Yes. Damian will be assigned to the Disciplinary Committee."
Arielle's gaze lingered on him a second longer than necessary.
"Good."
Then she looked away.
Elizabeth continued introductions.
"Members of the Disciplinary Committee –"
She gestured.
A tall, tan skinned boy with braided dark hair raised a hand slightly.
"Rex Dalmir."
He was a third year student as well.
Beside him sat a quiet girl with pale skin and amber eyes.
"Selene Hart."
She was one of the two second years present in the council.
The student council has quotas for both first and second year.
Meaning, even though they were a bit weak compared to their seniors, they had a terrifying potential.
All others present in the council were the strongest of the Academy. There were no quotas for third and fourth year.
It could be seen that the third year students were quite powerful if they managed to have 7 members in the student council, including the president and the vice president.
Then,
A broad shouldered girl with shaved sides and long hair tied back spoke casually.
"Mara Kestrel."
She looked like someone who enjoyed fighting with fists.
Elizabeth then gestured back toward the Clubs committee's side.
"Additional Clubs Committee members –"
A cheerful looking brown haired boy waved.
"Jonas Harrington - Event Operations."
Beside him, a tall elegant girl with long platinum hair smiled faintly.
"Elena Dray - External Partnerships."
Elizabeth finally gestured toward a girl sitting beside her.
"And Student Council Secretary –"
A girl with long navy blue hair adjusted her glasses nervously.
"Naomi Lark."
She gave a small bow.
"I… handle all council documentation and scheduling…"
Elizabeth clasped her hands together.
"With this, the full Student Council stands introduced."
Her gaze then moved toward Damian and Michael.
"You two are here because you represent the future combat core of this academy."
Her voice softened slightly.
"But make no mistake, you can be replaced if someone from your year challenged you."
Gareth spoke.
"I decide who gets resources in this Academy, including all the allocation for clubs."
Arielle also spoke.
"And I decide who gets pushed into real combat zones."
Silence filled the room.
Damian took note of each and everyone present. All of them were the strongest this Academy could offer.
'It seems Elizabeth is the strongest of the all, likely a B+ ranked awakened.
Those two from the fourth year are also B ranked, but clearly a bit weaker than her.
Although… that Gareth fellow seems to be the strongest in combat. It is only my intuition, but he seems to have killed a lot.'
