Vorgath stared up at Damian through his remaining eye, blood pouring from his severed arm and ruined face, his massive body slumped in defeat.
But instead of begging for mercy or cursing his killer, the Giant commander did something unexpected.
He laughed.
"Hahahahaha…"
A low, rumbling sound that carried genuine amusement despite the pain.
"Don't kill me yet, human. Let me watch."
His voice was weak but clear.
"Let me watch as you slaughter the rest of my army. Let me see the monster you've become."
Damian's eyes narrowed, but he lowered his axe slightly.
"Why would I grant you that?"
"Because I want to see their faces when they realize they're going to die. I want to see the fear in my warriors who thought themselves invincible. I want to see how many of them have the guts of a warrior."
Vorgath coughed, blood bubbling from his lips.
