He returned to the ice, but this time, the air felt heavier. From the darkness, something different emerged—not a bear, not a massive beast, but a slender, black entity with unfinished features and vacant eyes.
The Monster: "Do not try".
Haru felt a shiver. "Who are you?".
Abathy: "...I am your fear of action".
He smiled a cold smile.
Abathy: "I am the one who told you: 'Don't do it,' 'It won't work,' 'You will fail.'".
He attacked suddenly. The fight was different: Abathy was fast, his strikes unpredictable, each blow confusing the mind before the body. Haru fought with all his might—leaping, spinning, striking.
In a split second, a scratch occurred. Abathy's claw tore the pressure bandage on Haru's right hand. Haru froze and looked at his hand. No burns. No scars. Just a natural color.
His eyes widened. "This... is a dream".
Abathy laughed. "You finally understand? But it's too late".
Haru smiled calmly, then suddenly fell into a deep sleep. Abathy laughed with contempt. "Fool.".
But the ground opened. A portal. Haru disappeared and reappeared behind Abathy. A strike. A fierce battle ensued—the most violent in the entire story. Finally, Abathy fell. As he lay dying, he whispered, "You will never succeed...".
Haru opened his eyes. "We shall see".
