Chapter 120 - Chapter 120: What a Scary Boy

"Run away!"

Seeing a large group of Mages swarming into the Village behind Lyon, Village Chief Mocha and the villagers immediately hid in fear.

Although they were demons, they weren't terrifying and evil demons like Deliora.

They only possessed a trace of demon Bloodline within them; while their appearance differed from normal people, they weren't actually much different from ordinary humans.

Furthermore, they could transform into ordinary humans to live during the day.

As for their combat power, they were only slightly stronger than ordinary humans and couldn't compare to those Mages who fought with magic.

So naturally, they couldn't help and could only hide so as not to hold back the Mages of the Fairy Tail Guild.

A large number of Mages wearing uniform uniforms surrounded Goku and the others to prevent them from escaping.

Among them, three individuals who were not in uniform and stood behind Lyon—clearly possessing strength far beyond ordinary Mages—initiated an attack.

"Submit to our great Zero Emperor!"

The female Mage with pink twin-tails covered her mouth and giggled, activating her own magic.

"Puppet Magic: Rock Giant!"

A pink magic circle formed beneath her feet, and a massive Rock Giant over ten meters tall crawled out of it.

It extended its massive palm and reached out toward Gray and the others.

"I'll do it. Dragon Slayer Magic: Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!"

Facing the Rock Giant's grab, Natsu's hands erupted in flames as he charged forward without a hint of fear.

He intended to shatter the Rock Giant into pieces with a single punch.

However, just as he leaped up, a figure suddenly appeared behind him and quickly swiped at him: "Paralysis Magic: Poison Claw - Hundredfold Poison Jellyfish!"

This claw didn't cause physical damage to Natsu, but his body suddenly went stiff, and he fell from the air.

"Natsu!"

Seeing this, Happy immediately spread his wings and flew over, catching the falling Natsu.

"My body is paralyzed; I can't Move."

"Open, Gate of the Golden Bull!"

Lucy pulled out a Gold Celestial Spirit key and chanted an incantation; a blue magic circle rose from the gold key.

A muscular cow-man nearly three meters tall, carrying a giant axe on his back, jumped out of the blue magic circle.

This was the strongest close-combat fighter among the Gold Celestial Spirits she possessed.

"Go, Taurus!"

The Taurus Celestial Spirit drew the giant axe from his back and shattered the reaching giant rock hand with a single blow.

However, before he could swing the axe again to split the entire Rock Giant, his body suddenly stiffened, and he actually turned around to swing the axe at Lucy.

Startled, Lucy lunged forward, narrowly dodging the axe blow.

"Taurus, what are you doing?"

"Young Miss Lucy, my body is out of control!"

The Taurus Celestial Spirit raised his giant axe, about to strike at Lucy again.

The pink twin-tailed female Mage over there covered her mouth and smiled triumphantly: "My Puppet Magic can control creatures and objects other than humans, including Celestial Spirits!"

"Ice-Make: Lance!"

Gray slammed his right fist into his left palm, and an ice-colored magic circle appeared before him as a dense barrage of ice spears shot toward Taurus.

As long as a Celestial Spirit Mage's spirit is injured to a certain extent, they will automatically return to the Spirit Realm to recover.

He only needed to heavily injure Taurus and force him back to the Spirit Realm to resolve Lucy's crisis.

"Wave Magic: Barrier!"

However, at that moment, a blue-haired Mage appeared in front of Gray; with a wave of his hand, all those ice spears actually vanished.

"Your opponent is me, Yuka of the Wave, the bane of Mages—no magic is effective before me!"

"Wave Magic?"

Gray raised an eyebrow at those words, but he wasn't intimidated by the enemy Mage's claim.

The bane of Mages, capable of nullifying any magic—he didn't believe such words at all.

He wasn't a brainless brute like Natsu; having studied magic under the renowned Ur, his grasp of magical theory was quite solid.

The opponent's magic did indeed have the characteristic of nullifying other magic, but it wasn't particularly miraculous.

It worked by using continuous vibrations to disrupt the structural components of the magic, causing it to dissipate.

However, as long as the magic's power was strong enough that the vibrations couldn't destroy it in time, it would still be effective.

Alternatively, if the magic was fast enough to hit the target before the vibrations began, that would also work.

If it were a Requip Mage like Erza, it would be even simpler—one sword slash would use physical force to cut the opponent in half.

You can vibrate magic away, but you can't shake off a sturdy greatsword.

Therefore, the enemy before him wasn't particularly difficult to deal with.

Of course, defeating him might take some effort, preventing him from providing timely support to Lucy.

However, there wasn't the slightest hint of worry on his face.

Because there was still one person in their group who hadn't made a Move—the one most easily overlooked, yet the most powerful Mage among them.

That was Goku, who looked like a harmless child on the outside.

His true strength, however, was that of a terrifying Mage who could defeat the Fairy Queen Erza and destroy the moon.

Sure enough, just as Taurus's axe was about to strike Lucy, it was easily caught between two fingers.

It was Goku who had arrived just in time to save Lucy.

"Coma Palm!"

Forcibly seizing Taurus's giant axe with two fingers, Goku raised his hand and pressed a palm against Taurus's abdomen.

Controlled by the Puppet Magic, Taurus immediately rolled his eyes and fell into a deep sleep.

Since Taurus was Lucy's Celestial Spirit and was merely being controlled, Goku didn't truly hurt him; instead, he used a harmless Stupefy Curse to make him fall asleep.

When knocking someone out with a fist, it's easy to accidentally kill them if the force isn't controlled well.

But with Moves like the Petrification Fist or Coma Palm, there was no need to worry.

Just a light touch—or even without touching, as long as the magic hit the opponent—would produce the effect.

Against weak enemies, these Moves were more useful than the Breathing Technique forms or the Kamehameha.

"Go back, Taurus!"

Seeing Taurus subdued, Lucy quickly cast magic to send him back to the Spirit Realm, but she didn't dare summon any other Celestial Spirits.

Because any further summons would similarly be controlled by the opponent's Puppet Magic.

"Oh? The little guy has some skills. Then accept my lashings of love!"

Seeing that the little boy she had completely ignored actually possessed decent strength, the twin-tailed female Mage's face showed a look of surprise.

She then commanded the massive Rock Giant to throw a heavy punch at Goku and Lucy.

Facing this terrifying strike, there wasn't a trace of fear on Goku's face.

Because to him, this punch was... too weak!

"Ha!"

With a simple horse stance punch, Goku's tiny fist pressed against the massive rock fist.

A terrifying power erupted instantly.

Countless cracks immediately appeared on the Rock Giant's fist and rapidly spread across its entire body.

"Boom!"

The ten-meter-tall Rock Giant turned into a cloud of powder and fell to the ground.

"How is this pos—"

The twin-tailed female Mage's eyes filled with horror; before her surprised words could even finish, she saw the little boy who had shattered her Rock Giant with a single punch already standing before her.

And he punched her in the stomach.

Just as she thought in terror that she would explode like the Rock Giant, she realized she didn't feel any pain; her body was simply stiff and unable to Move.

"What a scary boy!"
