Chapter 26 - Chapter 26 Boy, I owe you a favor

"Could it be that the Wizard Bloodline is also mental-based?"

Recalling the Wizards in Harry Potter, they never seemed to run out of magic power when casting spells.

Perhaps the Wizard Bloodline mainly focuses on the soul and spirit.

They use their spirit to convert the infinite energy of the outside world into magic power, thereby casting spells.

So, when Wizards use too much magic, they might feel mentally fatigued, but they never completely run out of magic power.

There are also some evil Dark Arts that can pollute the spirit.

Young Wizards who don't learn magic or whose spirits are stimulated can become Obscurials, and sometimes the stronger the mental will, the greater the power of the magic.

Some Wizards turn into ghosts after death, and after Lord Voldemort died, his soul could still possess animals and then recreate a physical body to revive.

All these signs seemed to confirm his guess.

He boldly hypothesized that lower-class Saiyan warriors transform into Great Apes because their minds cannot suppress the anger and destructive desires in their bloodline, leading them to lose their sanity.

Previously, with his own mental overlay, he could maintain a sliver of sanity in his Great Ape form.

Therefore, with the significant boost to his mental faculties from the Wizard Bloodline, he could now truly maintain his sanity while transforming into a Great Ape, just like an elite Saiyan warrior.

Of course, all of these were currently just his guesses based on his understanding of the two bloodlines.

He couldn't be sure if it was true, but as long as things were moving in a good direction, he didn't care!

"Ahem, Professor Charles, that was just a joke earlier.

I think your previous suggestion is very good and not entirely out of the question."

At this moment, Nick Fury, on the Quinjet, looked at Hawking, who had once again transformed into a Great Ape, and awkwardly tried to smooth things over.

What kind of game was this?

First a child, then a Great Ape.

How could such things happen so casually, making him think he had the advantage.

On the other side, Captain Marvel, who had just breathed a sigh of relief, also frowned when she saw Hawking transform into a Great Ape again.

However, she also noticed some differences: the previous Great Ape had glowing red eyes and was extremely ferocious, like a monster that only knew how to fight and destroy.

The current Great Ape's eyes had lost their redness and were darting around, making its demeanor suddenly seem cunning.

This also prevented her from immediately launching an attack.

"Maria, don't attack yet."

Just then, Nick Fury's voice also came through her earpiece.

It was Nick Fury who wanted to negotiate with Professor X, so he ordered her not to attack the Great Ape for now.

Similarly, Hawking, who was considering what to do next, also heard Professor X's voice:

"Hawking, how are you doing now?

Can you maintain your sanity?"

Due to the panel's anti-snooping function, Professor X couldn't read Hawking's memories, but mental transmissions and other psychic intrusions were not affected.

The panel wouldn't help Hawking block these; it only prevented its own existence from being detected by others.

In fact, when Hawking first transformed into a Great Ape, Professor X also tried to communicate with him, but at that time, his mind was filled with desires for destruction, making communication impossible.

Now, Professor X clearly felt that after transforming again, his mind had calmed down.

"Professor, I can control my current state."

"That's good, stop fighting for now.

Nick Fury just…"

Professor X relayed the details of his negotiation with Nick Fury to Hawking.

After a moment of thought, Hawking replied:

"Okay, but Professor, from the situation just now, we can't fully trust the other party to keep their word.

We'll do this... and then this..."

S.H.I.E.L.D. Director, Agent boss Nick Fury, is not a man of principles and integrity.

His willingness is simply due to circumstances, and if the situation changes, negotiations could break down at any time.

For example, if he knew Hawking's true strength now, or the duration of his transformation, and so on.

So, it's best to maintain complete control to avoid future trouble.

"Okay, we'll do as you say.

I'll have him come out for a face-to-face talk, and then stall him to buy you time."

After hearing Hawking's suggestion, Professor X thought for a moment and then agreed.

Because of Nick Fury's behavior just now, he also became less trusting of this leader of an organization similar to the CIA.

"I think, at least for now, we don't have to fight."

Hawking looked at Captain Marvel opposite him, diligently suppressing the Saiyan bloodline's instincts, and his body rapidly shrunk, transforming back into a child.

"You're right, child, but I suggest you put on some clothes."

Captain Marvel landed opposite Hawking, smiling as she looked at his naked body.

Transferring his wand from his right hand to his left, Hawking awkwardly and quickly picked up a piece of his Wizard robe from the ground and wrapped it around his waist.

His Wizard robe had been torn when he transformed, and now that he had reverted, his body had no clothes.

Just then, the X-Jet and the Quinjet landed next to them.

Opening their hatches, Professor X led the Mutants, and Nick Fury led Agent Carter and S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents, stepping out almost simultaneously.

"I'm going inside to find some clothes to wear, but of course, if we need to fight later, I can stay and be ready to transform at any time."

Seeing the two sides meet, Hawking pointed to the X-Jet and jokingly said.

"I think our interactions will be very harmonious from now on!"

Listening to Hawking's semi-threatening joke, Nick Fury squinted his single eye, trying to show a friendly expression.

He had now categorized this Mutant boy as highly dangerous, even comparable to Professor X and Magneto; setting aside influence and just looking at destructive power, he was even superior.

If this guy went berserk in a city, it would undoubtedly be a huge disaster.

"I also think this was just a misunderstanding.

We just need to clear things up, Hawking, go ahead and change your clothes."

At this, Professor X also smiled cooperatively.

"That would be for the best."

Hawking nodded, then turned and boarded the X-Jet.

"Reparo!"

After boarding the jet, he immediately cast a Repairing Spell to restore his Wizard robe, then quickly mounted his firebolt, donned his invisibility cloak, and slowly flew out again.

His Wizard robe had been torn during his transformation, but his firebolt, invisibility cloak, and wand had been held in his hand and well-protected.

Going into the jet to change clothes was just a reasonable excuse to temporarily leave.

Completely covered by the large invisibility cloak, Hawking carefully rode his firebolt around the negotiating and confronting parties, then quietly approached the Quinjet's hatch.

He skillfully maneuvered the firebolt into the Quinjet, and after a search, he quickly found Magneto and Mystique, who had been knocked out by anesthetic.

"Petrificus Totalus! Petrificus Totalus!"

Two lightning-fast Petrificus Totalus spells froze the two S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents guarding Magneto and Mystique in place.

Hawking then aimed his wand at Magneto and Mystique.

"Revitalize!"

Revival Spell, a spell that instantly awakens a person from any state.

"Good evening, we meet again!"

As soon as Magneto and Mystique opened their eyes, they saw Hawking's smiling face, seemingly floating in the air, and almost thought they had seen a ghost.

After roughly understanding what had happened, Magneto looked at Hawking and said:

"Kid, I owe you one!"
