"What? Professor Quirrell was killed by Charlie?"
"That's right, I saw it with my own eyes. Charlie hung Quirrell from a tree and whipped him all night."
"Merlin's nose hair clip! Why did Charlie do that to Quirrell?"
"I heard Charlie knocked Quirrell out because Quirrell looked at him one too many times."
"No wonder all of today's Defense Against the Dark Arts Class was self-study."
Listening to the discussions around him, Charlie rolled his eyes, looking towards the Gryffindor long table in the distance.
It's hard to guess how this outrageous rumor got out. Which two scoundrels could it be?
As soon as Harry and Ron saw Charlie looking over, they quickly buried their heads in their plates, almost sticking their noses into the pumpkin juice.
What kind of rumor had this become?
They were helpless too.
They only said that Quirrell was a Dark Wizard and Charlie defeated Quirrell, so how did it turn into this?
Ernie poked his head over from the side.
"Charlie, did you really hang Professor Quirrell up and beat him?"
Justin chuckled.
"How perverted, I like it."
Charlie:??
Brother, you're not right.
He pressed down on both their heads.
"Go eat your stargazy pie."
After lunch, Charlie got up, preparing to head to Hagrid's Hut.
As he stood up, all the students from other houses, except for Hufflepuff, fell silent and resumed eating with their heads down.
This meal was truly a meal.
As for the Hufflepuff students, they were already eating with their heads down.
Charlie shook his head helplessly, walked out of the Great Hall, and decided to go see Hagrid.
Hagrid still didn't know exactly what had happened yesterday; he had only been notified to rescue the Unicorn.
Seeing this, Harry, Ron, and Hermione quickly got up and followed.
Walking on the path to Hagrid's Hut, the warm spring sun shone on their faces, making them feel comfortable.
Soon, the group arrived at the door of Hagrid's Hut.
Charlie knocked on the door.
"Who is it?" Hagrid's rough voice came from inside.
"It's us, Hagrid," Harry called out.
The door creaked open, and Hagrid's big, furry face appeared in the doorway.
"Oh, children, come in, come in," Hagrid quickly moved aside.
"I was just about to look for you. What exactly happened yesterday?"
Everyone entered the Hut and sat down.
Harry told Hagrid the entire process of yesterday's events.
But he didn't mention Lord Voldemort, as Dumbledore had said to keep it a secret.
After listening, Hagrid looked remorseful.
His eyes were red, and his voice was a little choked.
"It's all my fault, it's all my fault. If I hadn't told you to go back to the Castle yesterday, you wouldn't have encountered that damned Quirrell."
As he spoke, large tears began to fall again.
"I should have protected you," Hagrid grew more agitated as he spoke.
"If anything had happened to you, I would never forgive myself."
Harry quickly stepped forward to comfort him:
"Hagrid, it's not your fault. Who would have thought Quirrell would be a Dark Wizard?"
"Besides, aren't we all safe and sound?" Ron also chimed in.
"Charlie dealt with that guy and made him completely submissive."
But Hagrid still felt very guilty.
To change the subject, Harry quickly asked:
"By the way, Hagrid, how is the Unicorn?"
At the mention of the Unicorn, Hagrid's emotions stabilized a little.
He wiped away his tears and said thankfully:
"Nolan is fine, just a little injured."
"I treated its wounds last night, and it's recovering quite well now."
It turned out that the Unicorn from yesterday was indeed Nolan, whom Charlie and his friends knew.
"Do you want to go see it?" Hagrid suggested.
