Chapter 119 - Aura Unleashed! Instant-Killing the Hundred-Year Captains!

"Captains of the Visoreds… driven out by force back then…"

"Struck from the Gotei 13's records forever…"

Bai Chen's calm provocation—delivered straight into the Visoreds' hostile stares—only thickened the killing intent inside the abandoned warehouse.

"Showing up uninvited…"

"Looks like I'm not exactly welcome."

His words fell.

His body, unscathed, had already fully stepped into the warehouse.

And the strangest part was—

He had forced his way in, yet the Kidō barrier wasn't damaged at all.

It remained perfectly intact.

No cracks. No backlash. No abnormal fluctuations.

It was as if—

this barrier hadn't been built by Hachigen over years of painstaking effort…

but had always belonged to Bai Chen.

"Hiyori—"

"Hachi, this guy isn't ordinary. His background is definitely not simple."

Sarugaki Hiyori frowned hard.

To ignore a binding barrier above the 90th level meant only one thing—

Bai Chen was a Kidō master.

His Kidō ability had reached the "Grand Kidō Master" tier.

"Hiyori… that much is obvious. You don't need to spell it out."

Hirako Shinji—normally pushed around by her to the point of never fighting back—suddenly stopped being lazy.

As the Visoreds' leader, as the former Fifth Division Captain—Aizen's old superior—

he stepped forward, eyes locked on Bai Chen, and demanded coldly:

"Who are you?"

"Gotei 13's hunters?"

"Or…"

"Aizen's man?"

When he said Aizen's name, Shinji's gaze sharpened into something lethal.

He wasn't a bloodthirsty man.

But anything connected to Aizen dragged his hatred straight to the ceiling.

Behind him—

shing—shing—shing—!

The sound of Zanpakutō being drawn rang out in a chain, echoing through the empty warehouse.

Blades leveled.

Points aimed.

Every sword tip locked onto Bai Chen.

If he crossed even one more line—

even without Shinji giving an order—

the Visored captains, forged by decades of teamwork, would swarm him instantly from all directions.

"My identity…?"

Bai Chen scanned the circle of blades and didn't bother playing games.

He spoke plainly.

"Third Seat of the Thirteenth Division."

"I formally joined the Gotei 13 less than half a year ago."

"So even if you've been getting bits of Soul Society news through Yoruichi…"

"you might not have heard my name."

The warehouse went still for a heartbeat.

Then the shock hit.

"What?!"

"You're a Third Seat?!"

"And from the Thirteenth Division—the one with almost no presence?!"

"When did the Gotei 13 become this ridiculous?!"

Every Visored—Shinji included—felt it instinctively:

This didn't line up with what they knew.

In their era, Third Seats could be talented… but they weren't this.

Not even close.

And a Third Seat absolutely shouldn't be able to ignore a 90+ binding barrier.

Suspicion only deepened.

"So that's it…"

"You came to 'purify' us—erase us like the 'abnormalities' we were labeled as."

At that point, conversation was dead.

Even Shinji's patience snapped.

"Everyone—move!"

"Take him down fast!"

"After we restrain him, we'll pry every secret out of his mouth!"

The moment the command dropped, the Visoreds moved like a practiced unit.

Kensei and Love cut in from the left.

Rōbu and Lisa pressed from the right.

Rose slid in behind.

Hachigen clasped his hands, ready to chant layered seals.

They closed distance in a handful of breaths, severing every retreat.

Steel flashed.

Blades crossed, pinned, and locked—

until cold edges pressed against Bai Chen's wrists, arms, and legs.

In a blink, his movement was "taken away."

He couldn't even lift a hand.

"Hah! Shinigami bastard—so you're just a Kidō nerd!"

"You've got no real combat sense at all!"

Hiyori sneered, tightening her grip.

Her Zanpakutō Kubikiri Orochi rose smoothly, fitting against Bai Chen's waist like a guillotine waiting to bite.

Her pockmarked face twisted into smug contempt.

The fear was gone.

She looked like a street brawler again—arrogant and loud.

Beside her, Shinji added, voice cooler but no gentler:

"Don't say I didn't warn you."

"Blades don't have eyes."

"Don't move."

"Once we stack multiple binding spells on you, you'll be completely sealed."

As he spoke, his hand didn't relax even slightly.

His Zanpakutō Sakanade pressed closer—

the chilly edge touching Bai Chen's throat.

Half a step more, and it would break skin.

Blood would follow.

Bai Chen didn't change expression.

He didn't struggle.

He didn't panic.

He simply looked at them, calm as still water.

"Visoreds…"

"After living hidden in the Human World for so long…"

"you've almost forgotten what real battle experience looks like."

The Visoreds' hearts twitched—

but before anyone could respond, Bai Chen's voice continued, and something else rose with it.

A pressure.

A darkness.

"Sure… swords don't have eyes."

"But surrounding an enemy whose reiatsu is several times stronger than yours…"

"That's the truly stupid move."

The last word fell—

and a vast black wave of reiatsu exploded out of Bai Chen's body.

BOOM—!!

It hit like a collapsing sky.

The Visoreds didn't even have time to react.

One after another—

they were ripped off him and blasted backward, bodies thrown like broken dolls.

They slammed across the warehouse floor, rolling and skidding, coughing up breath.

Bai Chen didn't move from his spot.

He didn't draw a blade.

He didn't lift a hand.

He simply stood there—

and with aura alone—

he sent the hundred-year captains flying.

Against that black spiritual power…

even captains looked fragile.
