Sitting at this beautiful dining table again, I could only look at Lionel's face—remembering when I used to be here.

The piano played slowly, softly, and he ate with the same precision he did everything. I watched him, and I could not explain what drew me to this man. I thought it was my CSBD, but this felt different. Forceful. Like I belonged. Like I belonged to him.
