Seconds. Not even minutes.
This didn't make any sense. When he last visited, Lord Yvaion had clearly said it would stay latent until the end of the month, and even a day after that if they were lucky.
Then how could it break ten days earlier?
"Someone caused too much mana fluctuation in the area. Likely those trying to get in."
"The monsters responded to that."
Humans were literally the main cause of their problems. They just had to dig a path into the mountains. Why did they have to use mana when they were clearly informed that there were monsters inside?
What was he supposed to do now? Were those people even prepared to fight a horde of monsters who were no longer hibernating?
Should I tell the headmaster? Is there enough time to evacuate?
"I can take the four of you to safety as planned."
What about the rest? He couldn't leave without even giving a warning!
