Chapter 18 - Chunin exam part 1

Weeks later.

*Haku watched Naruto poring over the ancient scrolls and notes with intense focus. She understood how important these techniques were to him, how they connected him to his father's legacy. As Naruto read the note attached to the Flying Thunder God scroll, his expression turned thoughtful.*

*Meanwhile, back at the Hyuga compound, Hinata's father sat in his office, a rare smile on his face as he received the news from Hinata herself. Instead of the anger and rejection he was known for, he surprisingly encouraged her engagement to Naruto.* "Marry him,"

*Hinata's father, Hiashi, saw this as an incredible opportunity. Naruto's potential was limitless, and if Hinata married him, it would create a powerful alliance between the Hyuga and Uzumaki clans. Hiashi believed this union could bring great benefit to their village and their people.*

*Hiashi continued, his mind racing with political calculations.* "Naruto is strong, gifted with powerful techniques and enormous chakra reserves. If you marry him, Hinata, you will become the wife of a future leader, perhaps even the next Hokage."

*Hinata listened to her father's words, surprised by his enthusiasm. She knew he was thinking politically, but part of her was touched that he was supporting her choice for once. She smiled softly and said,* "I love him, Father."

*Hiashi's expression softened slightly at Hinata's simple declaration of love. It reminded him that this wasn't just a political alliance, but his daughter's happiness. He nodded slowly.* "I can see that you do, child. And I must admit, I've underestimated Naruto."

*Hiashi then stood up from his desk and walked over to Hinata, placing a hand on her shoulder gently.* "Listen carefully, my dear. This marriage will bring honor and power to our family. Make sure you do everything in your power to make Naruto happy and loyal to us."

*Hinata nodded, understanding that her father was giving his blessing. She bowed respectfully before leaving her father's office.*

*When Hinata returned to the Uzumaki mansion, she found Naruto still studying the Flying Raijin scrolls. She walked up behind him and wrapped her arms around his waist gently.*

"How did it go with your dad?" said Naruto

*Hinata smiled softly, pressing a gentle kiss to Naruto's cheek.* "Better than I expected," she murmured. "Father gave his blessing for our engagement. He even... encouraged it." *She paused, blushing slightly.*

*Naruto's eyes widened in surprise as he turned around to face Hinata, his arms wrapping around her waist.* "Really? Your dad actually encouraged it?" *He couldn't hide his shock, knowing Hiashi's usual cold and calculating nature.*

*Hinata nodded, her cheeks still flushed.* "He sees the political advantages of our union," she explained softly. "But he also saw how much I love you." *She looked up into Naruto's eyes, her own filled with affection.* "So... we have his blessing."

"what about your sister?"

*At the mention of her sister, Hinata's expression became more cautious.* "Hanabi will likely be happy for me," she said slowly. "She knows how much you mean to me. But..." *She hesitated, knowing her sister's fiercely loyal and sometimes jealous nature.**At the mention of her sister, Hinata's expression became more cautious.* "Hanabi will likely be happy for me," she said slowly. "She knows how much you mean to me. But..." *She hesitated, knowing her sister's fiercely loyal and sometimes jealous nature.*

*Hinata bit her lip slightly.* "She might be a bit... protective at first. She's always looked out for me and our clan's interests. But once she sees how much you love and respect me, I think she'll come around." *She smiled softly, believing in the strength of their love.*

"OK, you can go back inside the House with Anko and Haku I need to keep to continue working on the Flying Thunder God."

*Hinata nodded understandingly, knowing how important Naruto's training was.* "Alright," she said softly. *She gave him a gentle kiss before turning and walking back inside the house with Anko and Haku, who exchanged knowing smiles as they watched Naruto return to his intense studying.*

Doing the process was going too slow. He had to be the shadow clone Jitsu. 100 clones sent to learn went to each one The Rasengan From his father's scroll. Another one to learn sealing, Jitsu Another to learn a Chakra Chain.

*Hours passed as the clones diligently studied and practiced their assigned techniques. Naruto himself delved deep into the Flying Thunder God scroll, his brow furrowed in concentration. He knew this was a crucial moment - if he could master these techniques, his power would skyrocket.*

*Suddenly, one clone mastered the Rasengan - the powerful sphere of spinning chakra. Another perfected the complex Chakra Chain Jutsu. A third clone sealed away a powerful technique with Sealing Jutsu. And finally, the main Naruto understood the Flying Thunder God scroll completely.*

he called upon 80 shadow clones and sent 20 to do each thing Meanwhile, he took the sword his mother had made for him and caught upon his shadow soldier Igris.

*The shadow clones continued their relentless training, mastering their assigned techniques with incredible speed and precision. Meanwhile, the main Naruto summoned Igris, the imposing shadow knight, from his own shadow. The tall, muscular figure emerged, holding a massive long sword that seemed to absorb the very darkness around it.*

*Naruto and Igris began their intense sword training session. The shadow knight was a perfect training partner - unstoppable, unyielding, and practically immortal. Naruto's blade clashed against Igris's massive sword again and again, sparks flying with each impact.*

*Hours turned into days as Naruto trained relentlessly with Igris. His movements became faster, his strikes more precise. He learned to anticipate Igris's attacks, countering with swift parries and powerful thrusts. The sword his mother made felt like an extension of his own arm.*

*Naruto's intense training was interrupted by a letter from Kakashi, asking him to meet at Training Ground Seven. Curiosity piqued, Naruto quickly cleaned up and headed out, leaving his shadow clones to continue perfecting their techniques.*

*As Naruto arrived at Training Ground Seven, he saw Kakashi waiting for him along with Sasuke and Sakura. The atmosphere was tense, with Sasuke standing tall and confident, while Sakura looked somewhat nervous. Kakashi seemed calm as ever, a small smile playing on his lips.* "Naruto,"

"What did you call us for?"

*Kakashi folded his arms, his serious expression contrasting with his usual laid-back demeanor.* "We need to discuss something important," he began. "Something that affects all of us." *He glanced at Sasuke and Sakura before turning his gaze back to Naruto. " the Chunin exams"

*Kakashi sighed slightly. "The Chunin Exams are a way for genin to prove their worth and get promoted to Chunin rank. It's a rigorous test of combat skill, strategy, and teamwork. Each year, only the best genin teams qualify. and it's being held this year in our village."

"When does it start?"

*Kakashi looked at his notes.* "The exams start in two weeks. The first round is a written test, followed by the second round which is a survival exam in the forest, and the final round is a series of matches in the arena." *He paused, looking at each of them seriously.* "This is a big deal."

"I don't know about the other two but I'm ready."

*Kakashi nodded, a hint of approval in his eyes.* "I expected no less from you, Naruto. You've been training hard, and it shows." *He turned to Sasuke and Sakura.* "As for the two of you, I expect you both to be ready as well."

*Sasuke scoffed, crossing his arms.* "I've been ready for weeks, Kakashi. I don't need an exam to prove my strength." *His sharingan flickered briefly.*

*Sakura looked nervous but determined.* "I-I'll do my best!"

*Kakashi sighed at his two students' attitudes.* "Good."he then disappeared and a puff of smoke

"Sakura, do you want to train with me?"

*Sakura's eyes lit up at the suggestion, her nerves easing slightly.* "Y-yeah, that would be great!" *She smiled shyly at Naruto.* "I could use some extra practice before the exams." *She looked around, realizing Kakashi had left.* "Should we start now?"

"Sasuke do you want to join?" Asked Naruto

*Sasuke dismissed Naruto's offer with a wave of his hand. His pride was evident in his every movement and word.* "I'll be fine on my own. Besides, I have my own training to attend to."

*Sakura watched Sasuke walk away with a mixture of frustration and concern.* "He's been like this ever since he unlocked his sharingan," she muttered. "Always training alone, never asking for help." *She turned back to Naruto, shaking her head.*

"Come on Sakura we're going to my estate."

*Sakura nodded and followed Naruto as he led the way to his mansion. The walk was silent, but comfortable. As they entered the grand estate, Sakura looked around in awe. "Wow, this place is huge..." she whispered, taking in the luxurious surroundings.*

"I presume you know about my engagement."

*Sakura's expression shifted, a pang of sadness flickering in her eyes before she quickly masked it with a smile.* "Y-yeah, Hinata told me," *she said, her voice slightly wobbly.* "Everyone knows already. She's... really happy about it and that Haku girl I hope you're happy with them."

*She clenched her fists briefly, then forced herself to look at Naruto directly.*

"Do you know about the clan registration act?"

*Sakura's eyebrows furrowed in confusion.* "The clan registration act? No, I haven't heard of that. What is it?" *She tilted her head slightly, genuinely curious about what Naruto was referring to.* Her hands unconsciously played with the hem of her shirt nervously awaiting his response.

"it's an act that whenever a clan is reduced to fewer than 50 members members of that side plan are allowed to take more than one wife to get the numbers back up And since I'm the last of the Uzumaki clan, and since you probably don't know About my clan, I'll just say the one that clans that helped found the village so I am allowed to have multiple wives."
