Vuke, even though he'd been treated so badly, locked up and manipulated due to his present weakness, accepting not only their forced unpermitted request to marry one of the queen mother's daughters but all of them had been a damn miracle.
Especially since he could never go back on a blood oath.
Marriage was a permanent bond in this world. Emotions are shared weakness and strength too.
All the more reason why he agreeing to marrying not only one but seven females of their clan even though he was a powerful male had been so surprising.

And how wrong Vuke had been. He had been so wrong thinking he would have enough time to escape.
At the moment he didn't even have the privacy to bath in peace.
He had been given a very spacious and extravagant settlement in a place he'd heard was now made into the king's quarters.
Surprisingly the word king was not at all used the same way it had been used back on earth.
Here,the king only refered to the Queens' consort. The male partner of the queen. She ruled and he stayed by her side.
At the moment he had just managed to send the two maids who had insisted they would help him bath away.
Right after the coronation even before he could relax and ease into the new environment, his bothersome mother-in-law to be,had waltzed into his room and had almost held his legs in thanks if he hadn't sent her away!!
He was so damn tired. And more annoying was the fact that there were another batch of four females, this time including the general herself, stationed at his doors.
When he had questioned what their business was standing before his door, they told him the queen mother had asked for them to protect him until the ceremony was over.
Troublesome, troublesome woman!...
Somehow he thought his mother in-
law knew about his plans to escape.
Maybe she was deliberately doing all of this.
But why would she employ such petty tricks to deceive a mere male like him, he had a full core now which was a plus, however that didn't make him any special at all.
Although there were a scarce number of males in this world, they weren't so scarce that such a powerful woman would fail to get her hands on a few to wed her daughters.
Even if they weren't man ships, he was sure other species had their own way of supporting their females' energy cultivation.
He was not so special, why in the world then did they have to fuss over him like that.
. However the ceremony had started much better than he had expected it to be.
He was only to come for the main event, which was the wedding the process was exactly like he had seen in his previous life except this time there was a weird ritual which involved an imprint and sharing of soul energy.
He was on his way to his room after the tiring process of the ceremony.
However, although they had told him it was not at all necessary to make small chats with the guests and that he could totally ignore them didn't mean they would also comply and ignore him too.
Before he realized it he had been drugged here and there to exchange pleasantries with who and what not.
By the end of it all he was so annoyed he could almost feel smoke puffing out his ears.
But it was fine he just wanted to get to his room, possibly send those nosy maidens away without them making a fuss, and then he'd have some alone time to at the very least sleep!.
Something was weird though, his settlement although not looking entirely different, felt a tid bit different, there was a presence here that wasn't before.
Reaching his room he noticed that the guards outside were now six instead of four. .. Well it must be because of the guests invited to the ceremony.
He pushed the doors to his room open thinking of a plausible excuse to send the two maids away.
However there were no maids, and his room did not look at all like his room from yesterday. Instead it was decorated in a full on wedding night, a red and gold theme everywhere.
Hell, there was even a chandelier change, it produced a weird light almost as though following a symphony, a technology non existent on earth maybe.
