Chapter 7 - 6.Arvind Roy

The cab logs were a maze of numbers, timestamps, and GPS coordinates, but I traced each one with meticulous patience. Hours of cross-referencing led me to the same cluster of locations over and over again—quiet streets, abandoned lots, places where no one ever lingered.

And then it struck me. One address kept recurring, an unassuming penthouse in the heart of the financial district. My pulse jumped. Rathore's name was attached—directly, through corporate filings and front companies. The untouchable billionaire was connected, somehow, to the night Nehra vanished.

I pulled up surveillance feeds—shadows moving in alleys, a black cab parked while a sleek black sedan lingered nearby. The timestamps matched Nehra's disappearance. Someone had orchestrated this, monitored it, and left just enough breadcrumbs to be found... if someone cared to follow.

I leaned back, every muscle taut. This was the first solid link, the thread I could pull. Nehra's trauma, her silence, her absence—all pointed toward a man whose wealth and influence made him untouchable in the public eye.

Until now.

In his penthouse, Arvind Rathore stared at the notification that had appeared on his private server: "Formal charge filed. Sexual assault. Attempted murder." His hands clenched, knuckles white against the mahogany desk.

His empire, built on power and fear, was being eroded by a single name: Sepharine Dutt.

"Get me a lawyer. The best. The untouchable kind," he ordered, voice low and icy.

Every syllable carried fury that had been dormant until now. Money could buy influence, lawyers could manipulate courts—but Sera had dared to step in, and that audacity stung worse than any attack on his reputation.

A secretary hurried, confirming: she would arrange a legal team within hours. Rathore's eyes narrowed, a calculated fury burning behind them. This wasn't just about charges—it was about control, about dominance, and about making the woman who dared challenge him regret it.

He slammed his fist on the desk, the sound echoing in the high-ceilinged room. "Dutt... you've awakened something. I'll make sure you pay. And when I do, everyone will know why power cannot be challenged."

The game had begun. And Rathore never lost games.
