'Does Damian Hawthorne want to help the Sutton Family, too?'
At the thought, Cecilia instinctively glanced at Damian Hawthorne, just as he looked over.
Their eyes met. Damian Hawthorne's brown eyes were profound, like the depths of a dark pool.
Cecilia Nathan lowered her gaze, her heart skipping a beat.
Cecilia had thought Damian Hawthorne would take her to his place, but he ended up driving her back to her own apartment complex.
"Come cook for me at my place tomorrow. It's too late tonight, never mind." Damian Hawthorne glanced at Cecilia in the rearview mirror, his tone languid.
Cecilia breathed a sigh of relief. As she got out of the car, she heard Justin Bell ask Damian Hawthorne where he was going next.
"I'm going to see Serena Hughes."
Damian Hawthorne's low voice was just loud enough for Cecilia to catch.
