[Inside the ruin of the ship, Thanos gazes at the Infinity Gauntlet on his left hand. Two stones glow ominously.]
["There are two more Stones on Earth," Thanos rumbles, his voice vibrating with command. "Find them, my children, and bring them to me on Titan."]
[The Black Order—Ebony Maw, Cull Obsidian, Proxima Midnight, and Corvus Glaive—bow in unison.]
[Suddenly, Loki steps out from the shadows. His hands are raised in a gesture of peace.]
["If you're going to Earth, you might want a guide. I have a bit of experience in that arena."]
[Thanos achuckles. "If you consider failure experience."]
[Loki shrugs, a charming smile on his face. "I consider experience experience."]
[He steps closer. His expression turns solemn, his voice ringing with formal gravity.]
["Almighty Thanos. I, Loki... Prince of Asgard... Odinson..."]
[He pauses, glancing at Thor.]
["...The rightful King of Jotunheim... God of Mischief... do hereby pledge to you, my undying fidelity."]
[But as he speaks, Thor—still bound on the floor—watches in horror. Behind his back, Loki's left hand is weaving a spell. A slender dagger materializes in his grip.]
[Loki takes a deep breath.]
["...Undying? You should choose your words more carefully."]
[With blinding speed, Loki lunges. He thrusts the dagger upward, aiming directly for the Titan's throat.]
[CLANG.]
[Thanos doesn't even flinch. Blue energy from the Space Stone arrests Loki's hand inches from his neck. The God of Mischief is frozen in place.]
["Undying fidelity?" Thanos sneers, grabbing Loki's wrist and twisting. The dagger clatters to the floor.]
[Thanos's massive hand wraps around Loki's neck. He lifts him into the air like a ragdoll. Loki kicks and struggles, his face turning purple, but the Titan's grip is absolute.]
[Loki gasps, staring defiantly into the Titan's eyes. "You... will never be... a god."]
[CRACK.]
[The sound is sickeningly loud. Loki goes limp.]
[Thanos drops the corpse in front of Thor.]
["No resurrections this time."]
"Oh my god..."
In the Livestream Room, the real Loki stood with his mouth agape, staring at the screen in pure horror.
The sight of his "future self"—eyes glazed, blood trickling from his nose, lying broken on the floor—hit him like a physical blow.
His brain short-circuited. He couldn't process it.
Asgard. The Great Hall.
When the people of Asgard saw Loki fight to the bitter end—even attempting to assassinate the invincible Titan alone—a wave of profound shock washed over them.
They had always seen Loki as the trickster, the coward, the schemer who stabbed people in the back.
But to see him stand tall in the face of death? To die trying to save his brother?
It was... noble.
"Is that really Loki?"
"Unbelievable. That kind of bravery... it rivals Thor himself."
"I never knew Prince Loki had such warrior's spirit hidden within him."
"Loki..."
Queen Frigga covered her mouth, tears welling in her eyes.
On the throne, Odin's grip on the armrest tightened until the wood groaned. His eye flashed with a complex mix of grief and pride.
He had always assumed his adopted son would only ever use cheap tricks. He never dreamed that Loki would one day possess the heart of a true king.
He truly changed.
Back in the Livestream Room, Loki was less "proud" and more "having a mental breakdown."
He couldn't believe his eyes.
I am a Sorcerer!
A Mage!
Who in their right mind tries to MELEE a Titan who just beat the Hulk into a coma?! With a DAGGER?!
Is this suicide? Or just stupidity?
Loki's thoughts were spiraling. He felt like his future self had been possessed by an idiot.
Meanwhile, the Chat Stream was exploding.
[Thor Odinson: Alas, Loki! Why were you so foolish? You should have saved me first, and we could have fought him together!]
[Thor Odinson: I never expected this. You always seemed so clever, but when it mattered, you were even more impulsive than me!]
[Loki Odinson: What? What did you just say?]
Loki's cheek twitched. He felt the urge to vomit blood.
He, the God of Mischief, the smartest man in the room, was being lectured on "impulsiveness" by Thor? The shame was unbearable.
[Thor Odinson: But brother... you were magnificent. To charge at such a monster without hesitation... knowing you couldn't win... I salute your courage! (Thumbs Up)]
[Thor Odinson: From now on, I will trust you to watch my back on the battlefield! Hahahaha!]
As he typed this, Thor made a silent vow. No matter the cost, he would find the Purple Monster. And he would crush his skull with Mjolnir. For Loki.
[Peter Parker: Mr. Loki is really amazing. My Uncle Ben always tells me, 'With great power comes great responsibility.' If someone needs help, you have to stand up, no matter the odds.]
[Peter Parker: I didn't really get it before, but seeing Mr. Loki today... he taught me a real lesson in heroism.]
[Loki Odinson: ENOUGH! Thor! And you, spider-kid! Shut up! Do not judge me! (╬ Ò ‸ Ó)]
Loki was internally screaming.
What is happening?!
Did my future self catch Thor's stupidity virus? Is it contagious?
