Caitlyn's transition to Sheriff was a whirlwind of paperwork, internal audits, and political minefields. While martial law had been lifted, the bridges between Piltover and the Undercity remained under a hard seal. The plan was clear: once Caitlyn finished her handover, she would lead a legal and physical assault on Silco's remaining strongholds.

Vi, despite her loud protests that she would never wear a badge, had become Caitlyn's shadow. She was the muscle, the street-intel, and the unofficial partner. When the sun began to dip, Vi dragged the exhausted Sheriff to Heimerdinger's lab to find Chen and Powder for dinner.

Inside the lab, the air smelled of ozone and oil. Chen and Powder were knee-deep in blueprints for a massive electrical grid. "It's a good thing I didn't sleep through my engineering seminars back home," Chen muttered, wiping grease off his forehead. "If I were a liberal arts major, I'd still be trying to figure out how to light a candle without a match."

Dinner was a rare moment of peace. Powder and Vi had reached a state of equilibrium; Powder no longer felt threatened by Caitlyn, and Vi no longer felt like she had to choose. They were two sisters with two very different lives, bridged by a shared history and a mutual strategist.

As the three girls chatted about things Chen couldn't hope to contribute to, he leaned back and opened his system. He had a reward waiting from the defense of the Sanctuary.

Twin Cities War Emergency Mission: Completed. Reward: Claiming...

Please be "Phenomenal Evil Power," Chen prayed, his eyes squeezed shut. Give me that infinite Veigar scaling!

He clicked the claim button.

System Notification: You have acquired [Duelist's Dance] (Passive) and [Decimate] (Active).

"SHINAI!" Chen suddenly roared, jumping out of his chair.

The entire restaurant went silent. Vi and Caitlyn immediately looked away, pretending to be very interested in their soup. Powder facepalmed, pulling on Chen's sleeve. "Chen... social awareness. Please."

Chen sat back down, his heart hammering. He had just hit a massive power spike.

Duelist's Dance (Fiora's Passive):

Chen can now see the "Vitals" of any enemy.

Striking a Vital deals 3% (+5.5% per 100 AD) True Damage.

Provides a 20% MS boost and heals him for 40 HP per strike.

Decimate (Darius's Q):

A sweeping arc with his lamppost.

Blade Hit: 50 + 1.0 AD damage and heals 15% of missing health.

Handle Hit: 35% damage.

I'm not just a tank anymore, Chen realized, a roguish grin spreading across his face. I've got True Damage and missing-HP healing. I'm a Bruiser now.

Caitlyn was mid-sentence, trying once more to convince Vi to join the force. "You only listen to me, Vi. No Councilors, no politics. Just you and me, keeping the peace."

Vi looked tempted, glancing at Powder for approval. Powder just nodded. "Do what you want, Vi. I've got Chen."

Before Vi could answer, the restaurant door burst open. A bloodied Enforcer stumbled in. "Sheriff Caitlyn! The bridge! The Zaunites are rushing the blockade! Thousands of them!"

"What?!" Caitlyn grabbed her rifle and sprinted out. Vi didn't hesitate; she was right behind her.

Chen stood up, his tactical brain whirring. Silco wouldn't just rush the bridge with a mob. Not after the Janna incident. This is a diversion or a trap.

"Powder, we need our gear," Chen said. They rocketed back to the lab. Chen tried to call Ekko, but the line was dead—static and silence. "Something's definitely wrong. Powder, grab the 'Pow-Pow' and the 'Fishbones.' We're going to the bridge."

As they passed the Hextech lab, Chen banked his board and crashed through the window. He grabbed the Hextech Atlas Gauntlets off the charging rack.

"Jayce! I'm borrowing these for a field test!"

"Wait! Those aren't calibrated for—" Jayce started, but Chen was already a blue streak in the sky. Jayce looked at Viktor, who was coughing into a rag. "Stay here, Viktor. I'm going to see what kind of mess the kid is making now."

When Chen and Powder arrived at the bridge, the scene was chaotic. The air was thick with the "Grey" of the Undercity, but it was mixed with a strange, sweet-smelling purple vapor.

Hundreds of Zaunites were screaming at the Enforcer line, but they weren't attacking with weapons. They looked... terrified. They weren't rushing Piltover to conquer it; they were running away from something behind them.

Caitlyn was standing on an overturned carriage, her voice booming through a megaphone. "Hold your fire! They aren't armed! Hold the line!"

But from the deep fog of the bridge, a series of rhythmic, metallic thuds began to echo. Thump. Thump. Thump.

A massive silhouette emerged—larger than any Shimmer Warrior Chen had seen. It was a man, or what used to be one, encased in a terrifying mechanical suit with six legs and multiple chem-cannons.

Urgot had arrived.

"Caitlyn, get down!" Chen roared, diving toward her on his board.

A green chem-drill hissed through the air where Caitlyn had been standing a second ago, shattering the stone of the bridge.

"Vi! The Gauntlets!" Chen tossed the massive Hextech weapons toward her. Vi caught them mid-air, the blue crystals humming as they fused with her biological rhythm.

"Nice timing, kid," Vi growled, her knuckles glowing with arcane power. "I think I'm ready to be an Enforcer for a day."
