Author POV:
A week after Jay recovered, Section E somehow ended up louder than usual.
Which was saying a lot.
The entire class was sitting around before dismissal while Ci-N argued with Felix over absolutely nothing.
Ci-N: You're wrong.
Felix: I'm literally not.
Ci-N: You sound wrong though.
Jay sat on top of one of the desks watching them with amusement while Keifer leaned beside her.
Jennie was trying to finish homework.
Trying.
Because nobody in Section E understood the meaning of silence.
Then Jay suddenly looked around the room.
Jay: Wait.
Everyone paused.
Jay pointed at Keifer slowly.
Jay: Didn't you promise everyone a restaurant celebration if I woke up?
The room went completely silent for two seconds.
Then chaos started immediately.
Drew: OH YEAH.
Calix: WAIT HE ACTUALLY DID.
Felix pointed dramatically.
Felix: HE CAN'T ESCAPE NOW.
Keifer looked genuinely betrayed.
Keifer: Why does everyone remember except me?
Ci-N slammed both hands on a desk.
Ci-N: Because Section E never forgets free food.
Jennie closed her notebook immediately.
Jennie: That's true.
Eren looked up from his phone.
Eren: So when are we going?
Denzel: Today.
David: I support that.
Yuri nodded seriously.
Keifer stared at Jay.
Keifer: You planned this.
Jay smiled innocently.
Jay: Maybe.
Josh was already standing.
Josh: Okay but if we're going, we're going somewhere expensive.
Edrix: You're not paying though.
Josh: Exactly.
Rory nearly fell off his chair laughing.
Meanwhile Blaster was loudly trying to convince Mayo that he could eat twelve burgers.
Mayo: You absolutely cannot.
Blaster: Watch me.
Kit looked exhausted already.
Kit: We haven't even left school yet and this is already a disaster.
Maya walked over to Jay.
Maya: Honestly I'm just happy you're alive because these people became unbearable.
Jake nodded immediately.
Jake: Especially Ci-N.
Ci-N looked offended.
Ci-N: I'm the emotional support member.
Jennie: No you're not.
Eventually, after thirty minutes of arguing over where to eat, Section E somehow managed to invade an entire restaurant.
The workers looked terrified the second they walked in.
Because seventeen loud students entering together never meant peace.
Ci-N immediately sat in the center like he was leading a business meeting.
Ci-N: Welcome everybody.
Jennie: Sit down.
Menus were passed around while everyone talked over each other.
Felix and Drew were already fighting over drinks.
Calix kept stealing fries off people's plates before the food even arrived somehow.
David was recording everything for "memories."
Jay sat beside Keifer watching the chaos with a small grin.
Keifer looked at her.
Keifer: Happy now?
Jay looked around the table.
At Jennie yelling at Ci-N.
At Josh trying to order the most expensive thing possible.
At Rory laughing so hard he couldn't breathe.
At Maya threatening Blaster after he tried taking food off her plate.
Then she looked back at Keifer.
Jay: Yeah.
Before Keifer could answer, Ci-N suddenly stood up dramatically with a glass of soda.
Ci-N: SPEECH.
The entire restaurant got quieter for one second.
Jay immediately covered her face.
Jay: Oh no.
Ci-N pointed at her proudly.
Ci-N: To Jay for surviving long enough to pay attention in class again.
Jennie: That's your speech?
Ci-N: I spoke from the heart.
Denzel started clapping anyway.
Then somehow everyone else joined in.
Even nearby tables looked confused.
Jay laughed while Keifer shook his head beside her.
And just like that, the night turned into complete chaos.
Exactly the way Section E liked it.
