Rohan's pov
My day began like any other.
I woke up at 7:30 a.m., later than I should have, and rushed through everything without much thought. Tenth grade didn't really scare me. I wasn't nervous. There was only one thing on my mind.
Swetha.
I knew she was angry with me. I deserved it. What I had done during the annual day last year stayed somewhere in my head, refusing to disappear. I was sure she would yell at me the moment she saw me. Still, all I wanted was to make her talk to me,even if that meant standing quietly while she scolded me.
I got ready quickly, barely looking at myself in the mirror. Time was slipping away.
I grabbed my school bag, ate a dosa in a hurry without really tasting it, and said a quick goodbye to my family. Then I ran out and jumped into an auto.
As the auto moved through the familiar streets, I leaned back and stared ahead.
Today wasn't just the first day of tenth grade.
It was the day I had to fix things ,with the person who mattered to me the most.
