Chapter 5 - Chapter 4: Mysterious Stalker(His POV)

I reached Zyvora at sharp 10 a.m., as always.

"Good morning, sir," the receptionist said.

I nodded and walked toward my office.

On the way, everyone greeted me with their usual good mornings. I responded with a simple nod, just like every day. It has been almost two months since I joined, and the routine has remained the same.

I entered my cabin and noticed a bouquet of red roses on my desk.

This was different.

For the past one month, white roses had been appearing on my desk every single day, except for the last week. No name. No identity. Just a small note with short lines like "For my love," "You are only mine," or simply "My love."

But today, the roses were red.

I walked closer and saw a note attached to them. I picked it up and read:

"Happy Valentine, my love. I know you were missing me, but you are the one who made me angry for the whole week, and because of this I didn't send you the flowers.

But today I am happy as today is valentine's day so thought to send you Red roses instead of white this time.

We should have been together on this day. I know you are wondering who I am, but be a little patient. I will come in front of you soon. Till then, just accept these red roses as my gift of love."

And Love, What did you think? That you could catch me through that delivery guy? You're wrong, my love. You can't find me until I want you to. And let me tell you, if you try to do this again, I will be more upset.

And do you know what happens when I get upset?

Then keep this in your mind or take it as my first and last warning for you that "I know everything about you. I know what you and your company are doing."

I have expected the note to be like that but the last line, it is not fine. Does she really knows it or just bluffing.

But i can't take the risk of taking it lightly if it is true and also her words are clearly screaming confidence otherwise who has so much dare to give warning to Suryansh Oberoi.

I crumpled the note in my fist.

It was the same obsessed stalker who had been sending white roses for the last month.

But how did these flowers reach my cabin again?

I pressed the intercom.

"Come to my office. Now."

Nisha entered a few seconds later.

"Yes, sir?"

I pointed at the bouquet.

"What is this? How many times do I have to tell you that I don't want these roses in my office?" I said firmly.

"Sorry, sir. I don't know how it came here. When I last checked, the desk was clear. I really don't know who placed it."

"Your desk is right outside my cabin, and you didn't see anyone enter?" I asked sharply.

"Sorry, sir. I was on the IT floor. My laptop was not working properly, so I went there to get it repaired. That's why I couldn't see. It won't happen again."

I looked at her for a moment.

"Make sure it doesn't. And send the security head to my office."

"Yes, sir."

She removed the bouquet and left.

I sat down and looked at the folded note again.

Every day, white roses.

Today, red.

This was not random. Whoever she was, she knew my schedule. She knew my routine. And she was confident enough to enter my cabin without being noticed.

There was a knock on the door.

"May I come in, sir?"

"Yes."

Siddhi Sachdeva, head of the security department, walked in.

"You called me?"

I looked at her steadily.

"What is this, Siddhi? I gave you one task, and you said you had handled it. I honestly did not expect this from you."

"Suryansh, what happened? What task are you talking about?"

"Don't you know what I'm talking about, Siddhi? I'm talking about the stalker girl. She has sent the flowers again."

"But Suryansh, my team and I, along with the police, caught that delivery guy. He said he was just a delivery agent and received the order from his company.

We also checked there, but no information was found. And when she didn't send flowers for a whole week, we thought she had backed out after the police inquiry."

"Relax, Suryansh. Why are you thinking so much about that obsessed stalker? You should focus on our main goal. She can't do anything except send flowers," she replied.

"No, Siddhi. She is not just a stalker. Absolutely not. Just read the note, and you'll understand what I'm saying."

I pointed toward the note on my desk. She picked it up and read it.

"What? How does she know this? How is this possible?" Siddhi said, shocked. "She could be dangerous for our goal. What do we do now?" And what does she want? Why is she blackmailing you?

Don't know what does she wants but one thing I know, "We can't afford to make any mistakes when we are this close to our plan. Siddhi, I want every detail about her within twenty-four hours. And this time, do it our way. Not like before."

I had not taken this seriously before. I thought she was just another obsessed admirer. It wasn't new for me. But now she has gone too far.

She has messed up with the wrong person and she has did dare to give me warning. So this warning will surely be her first and the last warning.

And She thinks she knows me.

No. She doesn't know me yet.

But she will know it soon.

Siddhi nodded seriously.

"One thing I've noticed", Suryansh, she said. "From her notes, it's clear she's watching us. She mentioned the delivery guy.

No one knows about that except a few of us. And that means either she is someone we know. She can be from our office any employee or anyone from office is helping her.

"Yes, that's possible." I said calmly.

"Then do whatever it takes," I continued. "Keep an eye on everyone. Check the CCTV more carefully. Go through employee records. But one thing this matter should not go outside my office."

"Yes," she replied. "I'll handle it discreetly."

She hesitated for a second. "But what about your secretary? She knows about the flowers."

"Don't worry," I said, my tone steady. "She won't say anything. I've already made it clear to her. She understands the consequences."

"Suryansh, now I will find out about her in my way. You know there is no information that can stay hidden from me. Don't worry.

This time I won't just get her details. I will bring her directly in front of you."

I looked at her for a moment.

"No, Siddhi," I said quietly. "She says she loves me so much. Maybe I should return that love personally. You just get me the information.

I will handle her myself." "Let her watch. I want to see how long she survives thinking she's invisible."

"Okay, as you wish, Surya—"

Just then, there was a knock.

Nisha entered with a cup of coffee.

"Sir, your black coffee."

Siddhi immediately straightened.

"I mean... yes, sir. I'll handle it," she corrected smoothly.

"Good," I replied.

She gave a small nod and left.

I turned to Nisha.

"When is the meeting with Mr. Gupta?"

"Sir, the meeting is at 11 a.m.," she replied.

"And what about the interviews for the PMO Executive?"

"Sir, the HR manager has scheduled them for next week, Tuesday."

"Why such a delay? The CVs are already shortlisted," I said.

"Yes, sir. I asked the same. The manager said some other interviews are lined up, so they cannot conduct this one earlier."

"Tell them to conduct the interviews more strictly this time. I don't want irresponsible and unserious people like before. Otherwise, I will fire him first."

"Yes, sir. I will inform them."

"Okay. Now bring Mr. Sharma's file."

"Yes, sir."

She left the room.
