A tentacle was shot towards Da Ji Rou and yet.
He turned his body narrowly avoiding it.
Kao Dao Ji's expression froze.
His greatest hope of victory, and it had failed…
He took a deep breath.
Retrieving the tentacle towards his aperture, once more, he stared at Da Ji Rou.
How can I win this?
Is it even possible to win?
"You are a rather dangerous fellow. I wonder who exactly is piloting that aperture, but I admit I am very impressed." He squinted his eyes.
"All the more reason why I cannot fail." The intensity of his attacks grew further and further still.
Kao Dao Ji scrambled his brain whilst desperately avoiding.
There were no other allies he could rely on, as all communications with the outside had been cut once more.
His opponent completely outclassed him.
His life hinged by a thread.
[Dreaming Coating]
In his desperation, he activated Dreaming Gu.
Using his allies and his own mastery over his blessed land, he triggered its effect outside his aperture, surrounding it with that same pinkish aura.
Da Ji Rou stared at the aura curiously, tilting his head slightly.
"What is that? I have never seen an object like that…" But then.
His eyes widened.
An explosion surged just behind Kao Dao Ji, propelling his aperture a dozenfold.
In mere instants, he drew nearer.
But Da Ji Rou was not foolish; whatever that strange attack was, he would not let him get close.
His body propelled itself upwards.
Even then.
For a fraction of a second, his vision dimmed as he grazed the dream field.
"Huh? An attack that produces illusions? A Wisdom Path method? But why didn't my defenses trigger?" Da Ji Rou asked himself in confusion.
Before frowning, as another explosion surged.
And the aperture charged towards him once more.
"Enough playing around." His muscles trembled, and once more.
Flames came out of his fingertips.
And yet.
His surprise was huge.
A massive flare was shot towards him.
Not only was his own attack deflected, but his vision was painted purple.
There was no time to avoid.
From the other side.
Kao Dao Ji released his 'Morning Cloud' Killer Move, further enhanced by Le Tu and Uru Hong Jing.
Then he used the weird properties of the walls of his aperture to unleash the attack.
Before closing it down almost instantly.
While the process seemed simple.
It strained him massively.
And the worst was yet to come.
Using his remaining strength, plus the fact that his opponent was raising his defenses to the very limit to withstand that surprisingly powerful attack.
To open his aperture once more.
Kao Dao Ji screamed in agony.
As the tentacle neared, Da Ji Rou bathed in the flames covering his opponent.
Because there were no longer solid walls in his aperture, but instead a gaseous substance, covered by a thick fluid, the walls did not crack.
But instead.
The flames propagated through the heavens of his aperture.
It was a great spectacle.
Some of those flames collided with a few of the green suns, and those suns, upon colliding with such a mighty force, exploded.
A majestic sight.
But.
His aperture was nearing its limits; it was dying.
So many inflicted blows one upon another, how could his aperture withstand so much punishment?
There was no time to think about the future.
Da Ji Rou was finally caught by the tentacle.
And so, his body had been summoned towards his aperture, and yet he did not realize this immediately.
For he was already burning! Most of his focus was on extinguishing the flames.
But then.
He felt a rising aura approaching he opened his eyes widely, using an investigative Gu Worm.
And then, he saw the massive purple sun, which was now just a couple of feet away from him.
He screamed in rage.
He stretched his two palms into the air, and with the strength to overturn the heavens, he tried to push away the purple sun.
"Huh? Within the sun, there are Clouded and Sunny Thoughts mixed within?" He felt no fear, only wariness.
Several anti-Wisdom Path methods were triggered.
But then-
His eyes bleed.
The portion of his eggshell where the brain was located exploded.
Heavenly Energy was mixed within the thoughts, and while a brain hemorrhage was not enough to kill an Immortal.
From behind him.
Uru Hong Jing triggered another move.
A rainbow pulse struck him with deadly force.
Da Ji Rou gritted his teeth. He diverted one of his arms to try to protect himself from the other beam.
Two Rank 7 Killer Moves attacks, coming from both angles.
Furthermore, he was having a brain hemorrhage.
And he noticed that even now, more Clouded Thoughts Gu were approaching. With no other choice, he employed a barrier to stop those thoughts from approaching.
Each and every muscle was overburdened to its very limits; he was like a small candle that would be extinguished by the frailest wind.
Le Tu sighed down.
Using the portion of the aura he controlled of the sun.
He increased its weight.
The change of density startled him.
He tried to compensate, but it was far too late.
He screamed in agony.
Whilst Le Tu merely diverted his gaze, unable to endure.
He never expected that there would be a day when he would kill again.
Da Ji Rou's body combusted.
And as he did. So did the walls of his own immortal aperture.
Kao Dao Ji fell an immense shock.
As an aperture several times larger than his own.
Exploded within his body.
His already burdened and stressed body and mind could no longer endure.
By all logical measures, his aperture, too, should have reached its limit and exploded by this point.
But it held surprisingly well.
Even as the larger aperture exploded, even as the thousands of Dao Marks were annexed onto his own.
Yet.
What was the use of them?
Was he a Strength Path Cultivator? Could he use them?
They only got in the way…
But he could not be burdened by those thoughts for long.
His vision turned blurry, and his body began to fall, unconscious.
Le Tu and Uru Hong Jing stared at the scenery.
Uru Hong Jing muttered.
"Who would ever guess that we'd actually win?"
"Even so…Do you truly think we can save him?" He asked bitterly whilst staring down at the aperture of Kao Dao Ji that was combusting from several sides.
Extreme Yang Cloud Path, converging with Extreme Yang Fire.
The combination of both was so powerful that the flames could even propagate through the seas.
Not to mention the corrosive bloody rain.
Le Tu smiled bitterly.
"I don't know."
Uru Hong Jing frowned.
"Even if we do. Do you think this is truly the end of it? Do you think that this is over?"
"I…I don't know." Le Tu lowered his head.

Da Chou Jidan and Kao Zha Ji kept exchanging blows.
The wounds in Kao Zha Ji's body piled up.
His breathing was turning heavy.
But his expression remained grave.
"You…What did you do?"
Da Chou Jidan was confused.
Before he realized. "Did Da Ji Rou capture those two already? As expected of him, he has always been very efficient."
'Realizing' this, he chuckled.
"So what? What are you going to do about it?"
Kao Zha Ji's eyelids trembled.
"YOU! YOU ACTUALLY ACCEPTED IT! YOU CRAZY BASTARD.
YOU BROKE THE TREATY! YOU FOOLED ME WITH THOSE ACTIONS, SO I WOULD LEAVE MY GROTTO HEAVEN UNATTENDED!"
Da Chou Jidan's expression changed into one of bewilderment.
"What do you mean?"
Kao Zha Ji bit his lips until they bled.
"Playing fool now? Then tell me, why on earth have I been unable to communicate with any of the Supreme Elders I arranged to protect my Grotto Heaven?
You have either killed them all or cut down the communications.
Either way, your people are in my home."
"huh…I…?" Da Chou Jidan's expression changed into one of utter disbelief.
"Good! Good! Good! You want to disregard all laws? Let me do the same to you."
At that precise instant.
The expression of Da Chou Jidan became a sight.
Kao Zha Ji directly published the location of his Grotto Heaven in Treasure Yellow Heaven.
"You bastard! Aren't you afraid I will do the same to you?"
But Kao Zha Ji merely snorted coldly.
"So, what if you do? If you destroy my Grotto Heaven, I have nothing to lose by sharing this much; if you do not.
I will simply relocate it!"
His eyes turned red as he shouted.
"Call your men. Tell them to get the fuck out of my home. And I may help you in relocating your aperture."
Da Chou Jidan's eyelids trembled.
"What is that bastard talking about? An attack? Did somebody else attack them while I was here? If so, could it be that a Wisdom Immortal schemed against us? He could also be lying, and this is a bluff to force me to retreat.
But would he truly risk everything with a bluff?
After doing this, he can no longer back off, and he should know this.
I never expected that he would react so drastically, not so prematurely at least…"
He frowned.
"Why should I listen to you? Our Clan possesses its own methods to relocate itself."
"Are they even half decent? How many things in your Grotto Heaven will perish if you try your methods? Cloud Path is the perfect Path to carry objects without damaging them." Kao Zha Ji asked coldly.
Then it grew even colder as he added.
"Besides. My threat does not only extend to now. If I escape from here alive, your troubles will never end. I do not care if you escape to the hells of Heaven and Earth.
I will find you as many times as I have to and share this knowledge for the world to see!"
Da Chou Jidan paused.
As he stared at Kao Zha Ji.
"I am running out of patience. Tell your men to go. And allow my Clansmen to contact me.
I am giving you five minutes; if you dare to attack me, the deal's off."

Crimson Soul stretched his palm into the air.
Grabbing onto his hands.

Spring Autumn Cicada Aura surged, suppressing its will, which, together with several other Gu, prevented its detonation.
As the Gu was seized and forcefully refined in a matter of seconds.
He smiled lightly.
His eyes were darting towards the trio of Immortals, who had scattered in three different directions.
Kao Tuo Niao, Kao Yun Yun and Kao Yu Hun.
He let out a chuckle.
"Do you truly think you can escape from me?"

The red figure appeared behind him.
His body flickered.
He appeared before Kao Yun Yun.
Who startled raised her arms, several books were shot from their pages, a shiny light surged-
She lowered her gaze.
The book and her stomach had been pierced through.
Then.
He stared at Kao Tuo Niao, who had surrounded himself with an anti-space Path method.
"Useless."
His eyes shone, and two bloodstreams were shot.
Kao Tuo Niao gritted his teeth. [Limitless Distance]
The attacks slowed down as they approached, becoming completely still just a few millimeters away from him.
He let out a sigh of relief, but then.
[Spring Rises to Fall] Spring Autumn Cicada opened its mouth to inhale, and as it did, a suction force emerged, pushing its body towards the attacks.
And he impaled himself with them.
After inhaling, Spring Autumn Cicada exhaled just as greatly.
Its attack methods were a combination of employing other Gu and exploiting Spring Autumn Cicada's natural feeding methods.
But there were limits in what was possible.
All the food 'absorbed' had to be expelled before it was fully digested, or else Spring Autumn Cicada risked stuffing itself up.
Furthermore, the method of inhaling and exhaling was only possible because the Gu had a conscious Immortal within it.
Whom also aided Crimson Soul in creating those complicated Killer Moves.
Regardless.
Crimson Soul appeared before Kao Yu Hun.
Who, upon seeing him.
Felt a chill down his back.
He touched his shoulder and stared at him, smiling widely.
"I need you to do me a favor."
Kao Yu Hun struggled to put on an smile.
"What would you like me to do for you, sir?"
"I want many things, but first."
He stared openly at Kao Yu Hun's eyes, who met his gaze with nervousness.
"I need to enslave you." He chuckled.
Kao Yu Hun's eyes widened upon realization he had been tricked; had he known this would occur, he'd have detonated his Gu.
Alas, it was too late.
His soul foundation could not compare to that of his opponent.
