(As Ren looked at the house, the man showed him. Ren started to ask himself what they would be doing this far from the city, and was also surprised by how beautiful and big the house was.)
(Ding-dong)
"Honey, I'm back", Fujimoto
(Ren stood there for a little while as he was thinking what are these people doing so far from the rest of civilization)
"Hey, kid! Why are you just standing there?"Fujimoto
"Okay! Thanks for having me, Ren
(He stepped into the house, sat down, and took off his shoes)
"Come this way", Fujimoto
(Ren was busy staring at the interior of the house and how amazing it looked)
"Hey! Kid, are you listening? Come with me, Fujimoto
(Ren shook his head)
"Ohh!, yeah, coming"Ren
(He got up, took his weapon and followed the man)
"So, your wife, where is she? "Ren
(Suddenly, a woman came from behind them, )
"Fuji!, you are back"?
(Ren was very startled by her that he even had to hold on to the walls of the house to keep himself up)
"How are you, and who is that kid, and why is he acting like that"?
"What do you mean, acting like that? You are the one who startled him? "Fujimoto
"What?,...nah, it was me"?
"Okay then, who else would it be? "Fujimoto
(While they were talking, Ren was only thinking, where the hell did she come from?)
"Yeah, I'm back, and the inspector is here", Fujimoto
"Hum?"
"Ohh, I haven't introduced you two yet, have I?" Fujimoto said with a humble smile on his face, "This is my wife, Yumine Fujimoto, and this is Ren, here to help us with the whole nightmare thing." Fujimoto
"Nice to meet you, Ren" Yumine
(Then she raised her hand to Ren)
"Yeah, same here, nice to meet you two, Yumine, Ren
(Then he raised his hand and they shook hands)
"Let's go to the living room so we can discuss this nightmare problem while sitting",, Fujimoto
(Ren looked around and realized their daughter was not here with them, and he decided not to ask them about it. When they are ready, they will tell him where she is.)
"Okay, but let me go make some tea", Yumine
"We would appreciate that", Fujimoto
(Then Ren and Fujimoto went to the living room)
"Here we sit on the couch, imoto
"Ohh, okay", Ren
(Then Ren sat directly across from Fujimoto)
(They started talking about the phenomenon that is taking place in mr and Miss Fujimoto's house)
"I'm back with the tea!"Yumine
"Ohh, thanks, darling", Fujimoto
(Then Yumine sat down, and they were ready to talk about the nightmare creature)
(Mr. Fujimoto was smiling when discussing the nightmare)
"I know I deal with these things, but what exactly am I dealing with? "Ren
"I don't know where to begin", Fujimoto
"Okay, when did she stop being your daughter and start behaving like someone else and not your daughter? "Ren
"You see my daughter was always a cheerful and free person, when she was born the doctors said that she was born smiling unlike other children even when i was finally allowed to see her she still was smiling so that became the reason i named her Mikae, where the characters 'mi means beautiful, ka means summer or flower, e means everlasting, meaning she name means beautiful everlasting flowers because she wouldn't get sad and show it on her face" Fujimoto
"She has always been a weird kid. She would smile through painful and joyful times. She always tries to make friends, but can't because people treated her like a freak, but she never gave up on making friends either way" Fujimoto
"Ohh!, do you remember when she was in pre-school? "Yumine
"Ohh yeah!, you know the was even this one time in when parents where invited to her pre-school see the process of our children and i happened to realize that she couldn't figure out how to read English then another kid in her class wanted to help her but when the other kid was going to her to help she got freaked out by the creepy smile on her because she realized that the kid was coming to help then the other kid ended up running away instead of helping!"Fujimoto
(Then the Fujimotos laughed about it; they really loved reminiscing about what she was like as a kid.)
"Then, when she was 14 years old, she had started to make a friend, her name was let's see, ohh yah, it was Han, so she was a bad influence on her, but appeared to be good friends with Mikae, so we let her hang out with her" Fujimoto
(Mr. Fujimoto sighed!)
"Then, about three months later, her school was holding a festival as usual, and her class was raising funds for the festival, so they made the mistake of giving the money to Hana, then you can guess what happened after"Fujimoto
(Ren looked down and answered)
"She was backstabbed by Han, right? "Ren
"Yep!...and the worst part is she was blamed for it, and she was even expelled from the school for something she didn't do, but she was smiling when she found out about it, and when we got back home, she looked herself in her room and cried like never before, and might I remind you that"Fujimoto
"Yeah, because she never cried before!,..like ever right?" Ren
"Yeah!,..and I have never felt useless ever in my entire life, then seeing my daughter cry like that and on top of that, Yof that, Yumine, and I knew that Hana was a bad influence on her, but we didn't do anything about it" Fujimoto
(Mr and Miss Fujimoto started crying, then Fujimoto continued)
(With shaky voice, continued)
"Then about a month later, a new school accepted her, and she went to school there and started bouncing back to her usual self, and she smiled even brighter than before, and we were proud of her", Ren
(Then they stopped crying, then started smiling. It was an amazing sight to see.)
