Westcott nodded. "You may, as long as the spirit crystal is unharmed."
...Another day later, in a park in Tengu City, a Silver-Haired Girl was lying on a bench. The sun shone on her body, and feeling the heat, the Silver-Haired Girl immediately opened her eyes and shielded them from the sunlight with her hand.
The Silver-Haired Girl stood up slowly, raised both hands, and stretched her waist backward before waving her right hand to cancel the spirit power barrier hidden around her.
"Alright, Illustrious is full of energy! I'll try to find a job again today!"
This Silver-Haired Girl was indeed Illustrious. Having just arrived in this world yesterday, she had headed to Tengu City in order to seal three Spirits. She came to Tengu City because it was a gathering place for Spirits.
After flying to Tengu City, Illustrious felt hungry. With no money, she could only look for a job first. No job meant no food, and no food meant no strength to seal Spirits.
Illustrious had been looking for a job for two days now, but she still hadn't found one. The reason was that she was an undocumented person. Without documents like a passport, health insurance card, or driver's license to prove she was Japanese, it was very difficult to find work.
It was currently the off-season, making it even harder for Illustrious to find anything.

Illustrious knew that Kurumi had always wanted to kill Mosaic, because Mosaic was the Origin Spirit Kurumi had been searching for and wanting to kill.
As long as Kurumi asked for Mosaic's location, she would use knowing the location as a reason to have Kurumi support and take care of her for half a year. During those six months, she could definitely seal Kurumi.
"Where is she now? Tell me quickly," Kurumi threatened, pointing her flintlock pistol at Illustrious.
Illustrious looked surprised. The script wasn't going as she had imagined. Kurumi simply wanted to get the information for free.
