Chapter 281 - Chapter 47: Dinner Grass Slime

"This is our dinner for today! This is all I could find in the wilderness," Xiangling said unhurriedly. "But fortunately, because the Grass Slime is a Dendro elemental monster, its body is made of plant matter. Its meat can be said to be very delicious, and with my cooking skills, it will be like adding wings to a tiger."

The Grass Slime was constantly exhaling poison, and Ganyu expressed doubt about Xiangling's words. "Is this thing really edible? If we eat this Grass Slime, diarrhea is a minor matter, but food poisoning would be the real trouble!"

"It's just a little poisonous! No problem! No problem! You can put your heart at ease! As long as I process it slightly, I can remove the poisonous parts, and the rest of the meat will be edible." Xiangling threw the dead Grass Slime onto the ground, patted her small chest, and revealed her small fangs as she spoke.

"Alright then! I'll wait on the side for you to show off your culinary skills. Call me when it's ready." Illustrious lay down on the grass to rest.

"Do you need my help?" Ganyu offered.

"No, no, I can do it myself. You two just rest on the side! I'll call you when I'm done." Just kidding, the kitchen was her sanctuary; how could she let others step in? Xiangling waved her hands and refused.

"Alright then! But if you're too busy, remember to call me, okay?" Ganyu said, still worried.

"Okay!" Xiangling nodded in agreement.

After Xiangling's knife skills and culinary techniques, the delicious Grass Slime dish was soon completed. "Illustrious, Ganyu, I'm done! Come and eat!"

A bowl of Grass Slime noodles was placed in front of Illustrious. Seeing that the noodles were green, the soup base was green, and the gas wafting from the bowl into the air was also green, it was truly quite green.

"The presentation isn't great! I wonder if it's edible!" Illustrious whispered.

Looking at Xiangling, whose eyes were sparkling as if she were saying "Eat it quickly! Then say it's delicious and that Xiangling is a genius girl in the culinary world!"

Being stared at made her uncomfortable, so Illustrious had no choice but to bite the bullet and start eating. The noodles slid into Illustrious's mouth with a slurp.

"Ah! It's so hot! No, I can't, there's too much, it's about to overflow." Illustrious inhaled too much at once, making it impossible to swallow it all.

Illustrious could only swallow slowly. After finishing, she widened her eyes and said: "It's so delicious."

"These noodles melt in your mouth, the texture is excellent, and the flavor has a freshness of nature. It's truly a case of wanting another bite after just one!"

Slurp, slurp sounds rang out continuously as Illustrious quickly ate the noodles mouthful by mouthful. In no time, she had finished the bottom of the bowl.

"Xiangling! Is there any more? If so, give me another bowl." Illustrious held up the empty bowl and walked to Xiangling.

"Okay! No problem." Having her food affirmed was the highest reward for a chef. Xiangling took the empty bowl and laughed: "Don't worry, there are still plenty of noodles. They will definitely be enough to fill your little tummies."

On the other side, Ganyu, holding the Grass Slime noodles, was still hesitating whether to eat them. After all, the presentation looked like poison, which made her afraid to eat.

However, seeing that Illustrious had finished eating so quickly and wanted another bowl, Ganyu decided to eat it. If it weren't tasty, Illustrious would definitely not have asked for another bowl, so it could only mean that these Grass Slime noodles were indeed edible and very delicious.

With a slurp, she ate it, and Ganyu's taste buds were instantly amazed by the deliciousness.

Ganyu's legs clamped together, her whole body trembled, and her face flushed red. Heavens! What was this feeling? How did it feel as if something was about to come out of her body?

"Ah!..." Ganyu let out a shy sound. In her eyes, she seemed to see Grass Slimes separating from her body, and these Grass Slimes kept circling around her on the ground with pop, pop, pop sounds.

Ganyu seemed to be in an illusion; the surroundings were grass and trees, but they were exceptionally tall. In this environment, Ganyu couldn't help but feel a freshness of nature—this was the taste of green. The sun turned into a Grass Slime, constantly emitting green light, telling the world that love is a green light, and it will shine all over your body.

Soon, Ganyu came back to her senses. The illusion was gone, and she slurped up the remaining noodles in her hand. Seeing the empty bowl, Ganyu followed Illustrious's example and held the bowl to Xiangling. "Please, give me another bowl!"

"Okay! It seems you really like this Grass Slime dish! It looks like Wanmin Restaurant needs to add a new dish! Good things should be shared. After all, it's only truly good if everyone thinks it's good." Xiangling took the bowl Ganyu handed over. Seeing that both of them liked it so much, she planned to add these Grass Slime noodles to the Wanmin Restaurant menu.

"However, I think not many people will order it at first. After all, the presentation doesn't look very appetizing. If you improve it, business will definitely be booming," Illustrious suggested.

"Is that so? Then it seems I'll have to improve it when I get back," Xiangling nodded and accepted Illustrious's suggestion. "Here, Ganyu, this is the last bowl."

"What! Why is it gone so fast? Wasn't there a big pot just now?" Ganyu said, a bit confused while eating.

"You'll have to ask Illustrious for that," Xiangling looked at Illustrious helplessly: "Illustrious just ate five bowls, so there wasn't much left."

"Hee hee hee! Great, so without paying attention, I ate a little too much." Illustrious turned her head to look into the distance, her index fingers tapping together, her face blushing slightly.

"You call that a little bit? That's five bowls! Five bowls! How can your stomach hold that much!" Xiangling looked at Illustrious's small stomach, which wasn't bloated at all, and wondered where all that food went. "Speaking of which, you ate so much, why is your stomach still so flat?"

"That's, of course, because I possess a gnosis! So my constitution is different from yours. The food I eat is digested instantly, and harmful substances are removed, while beneficial substances are converted into energy," Illustrious said, hands on her hips, very proudly. "In other words, I'm fine even if I eat poison; I can be said to have a body that is immune to all poisons."

"A gnosis has this kind of effect? That's so nice!" Xiangling said with a bit of envy.

After eating, Illustrious and her group set off on their journey to hunt the Prehistoric Boar. After arriving at their destination, they found that there were no Prehistoric Boars.

Looking at the sky getting dark, Illustrious couldn't help but feel a bit troubled. "Hey, Xiangling! Didn't you say the Prehistoric Boar was here? Why isn't it here?"

"Hmm? Strange! It should be here! Sorry, I remembered the place wrong, or maybe it's over there. Let's go there and take a look!" Xiangling pointed to a spot in the south.
