(Y'all gotta stop with the 'Kaori is Kenjaku' accusations đ. It gets to a point where it stops being funny.)
...
A skinny All Might sighed, standing outside Recovery Girl's nurse office, ignoring the smooches in the room while being deep in thought himself.
Meanwhile, inside the room, Izuku was sitting on a chair, having his shirt taken off. "Well, I see you've taken my advice somewhat seriously. The injuries you received are surprisingly not from your own Quirk." Izuku looked down at the mumbling Recovery Girl who was busy bandaging around his stomach.
"Yeah..." Izuku muttered. During his first time landing himself in her office, Recovery Girl had been the one to scold him about his usage of his Quirk, having told him that such a harmful method would only kill him. If not for that, who knows how many injuries Izuku would have at this moment.
"Don't get ahead of yourself, young man. You still have a long way to go." Recovery Girl shook her head, quickly reminding him as she tapped the bandages on his right arm. All Might silently walked in the room, standing beside Izuku.
"Right now you can only handle a small amount of your own power, your fight with that Sukuna boy shows it. You better start now, else you'll be dead out there wondering why you weren't strong enough." She said grimly. Izuku chuckled nervously, getting up and thanking her.
"Thank you, ma'am. I'll keep that in mind for sure."
"I hope I see you less." Recovery Girl huffed, watching Izuku and All Might leave her office.
"That was something..." All Might muttered, glancing at Izuku who turned out to be deep in thought, his P.E shirt draped over his shoulder, swaying with the wind.
"You've far exceeded my expectations, Young Midoriya." All Might's words broke Izuku out of his trance. He stared at his mentor in surprise.
"I mean it. I am proud of you." All Might patted his shoulder, his grin shining, but then his expression shifted to a more serious one.
"But take this from someone experienced, a true hero shines brightest not in a single burst, but across a lifetime." He said, trying to emphasize sustainability.
10% stable control means Izuku is transitioning from his reckless inheritor to engineered successor. He had learned to distribute force across his body, manage output and think in percentages instead of desperation.
"Keep it up, Izuku. And remember, if you have a problem in your Quirk or just life in general, your friends, family, teachers and of course, me, are always here." He grinned.
"Yes sir." Izuku nodded seriously.
"Uh, Izuku. Who are you talking to?" Izuku jumped, turning around to see Uraraka slowly walking up to him.
"Umm..." He turned around again, seeing that All Might was already gone. Wow, what a surprise. He laughed nervously.
"W-well, I was just talking to myself... yeah! You know it's one of those days... Haha..." Izuku internally panicked as he saw Uraraka deadpanning him, not buying it at all.
She sighed, dropping it for now. "Whatever. How are you doing?" She asked, looking at Izuku's bandages. She stopped when she noticed that he was shirtless, his shirt still draping on his shoulder.
"Well, there are some cuts, but I'll manage. I'm doing better now that you're here... Wait!â" Izuku's eyes widened, realizing what he just slipped out.
"H-huh?" Crap, from the looks of it, Uraraka must be feeling uncomfortable from how pink her face was.
"I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to say that! I-it just completely slipped out my tongue!" He attempted to diffuse the situation.
"D-do you really mean it?" He froze, looking down at Uraraka, gazing up at him with her hands behind her back.
"Uh... Yeah... I guess..." He scratched the back of his head.
"Oi!" They heard someone shout, scaring the both of them. They looked to see Bakugo stomping towards them, bandages all over his body.
"The hell are you two doing here, the award ceremony is about to start. Don't tell me you two are gonna sneak off somewhere. I never took you for a pervert, shitty nerd."
"I-it's not like that!" Izuku and Uraraka shouted in unison. Bakugo walked past them.
"Well I don't care." He grumbled, stomping off.
"Are you... okay?" Izuku couldn't help but ask, noticing the absurd amount of bandages on Bakugo. Looks like Sukuna dealt a number on him, worse than what Izuku went through it seems.
He was expecting a rude reply from the blonde, but he never expected Bakugo to be silent. It's the most quiet he's ever been.
"It wasn't even close... I gave my all... But I never had a chance against him at all..." Bakugo whispered, his fists clenching, a never seen before humility showing.
"Tch." He snorted before walking away, leaving the two alone.
"Wow... uh... Looks like someone got a reality check I guess." Uraraka commented, not really knowing what to say.
Izuku was silent. Bakugo's words were relatable, too relatable. In terms of strength, Sukuna was just in a completely different league than them.
"C'mon, let's go..."
...
"It's a shame Iida won't be here to see this. He was very fired up about this." Tsuyu muttered. The blue haired boy had suddenly informed them that due to home life circumstances, he was forced to take his leave early.
"I wonder what happened though?" Denki questioned out loud. No one had an answer to that question, but now they knew why Iida was so out of it back then.
"And now, introducing the one who will be presenting the medals to you all!" Midnight announced, pointing at a certain direction, as the crowd became silent.
"HAHAHAHAHAAA!" They suddenly heard a powerful laugh. Just then, a person jumped off from the highest point of the stadium before landing in front of the students.
"I am here! And I brought medals with me!"
"Holy shit! It's All Might!"
"That's what I'm talking about! That's why he's the GOAT! The GOAT!!!" The crowd went into the frenzy, as the Greatest Hero Of All Time, All Might stood before them, with his signature grin and muscular stature.
Kaori and Jin, both smiling, stood up with the crowd, applauding the man with nostalgia in their eyes.
"Is it just me, or does he looks more muscular than before." Kaori whispered to Jin who laughed in return, thinking about the same thing.
All Might stepped up to the podium where Izuku, Bakugo and Sukuna were standing, awaiting to receive their medals.
"Congrats, Midoriya. Keep up the good work." All Might muttered, wrapping the bronze medal over his head, before patting his shoulder and moving on to Bakugo.
"Chin up, young Bakugo. I liked watching you fight. You charged forward brilliantly. You have the heart of a victor. Next time, I'd like to see you have the mind of one."
Bakugo only nodded silently as All Might place the silver medal around him, before giving a reassuring pat on the shoulder and moving on to Sukuna.
"Congratulations, young man. I am truly impressed by your spirit." All Might nodded, Sukuna stared back calmly, too calm for All Might's taste, like winning this tournament isn't something he was excited over.
"You were strong today. Very strong. But remember, victory is not proof that you understand your opponents. It only proves you overcame them." He wrapped the gold medal over him.
"Your strength is formidable, young Sukuna. Continue refining it, and ensure it serves more than yourself." Sukuna nodded at his advice.
"Yes sir." He muttered, as All Might patted his shoulder. The Symbol of Peace turned around, facing the whole freshmen body.
"Boy and girls, I congratulate you all for giving a Plus Ultra performance today! You might've not noticed, but I have seen each of your performances in every competition! And I can proudly say that this year's freshmen were the best I've seen in a while! I see the next generations of heroes right in front of me! And I hope to see an even better performance next year!"
"Now say it with me everyone!" All Might raised his left arm, as the crowd waited in excitement, raising their left arms with All Might. Izuku was having a hardcore fanboy moment right now.
"PLUS ULTRA!!!!!!"
To be continued.....
