WHEN Park Seoham got into his car, he didn't leave right away.
He called Joo Woori first.
After all, he needed to know where she was. If she didn't want to tell him, then he would resort to other means— like hiring a private investigator to track her down.
The longer it rang on the other end of the line, the more anxious he got.
Joo Woori, if you think you can run away from me again, then think again. The only reason you managed to "hide" from me before was that I didn't look for you. But, for your information, I have all the means now to search for you. No matter where you go or where you hide, I'll find you—
Park Seoham's internal monologue was cut off when the ringing finally stopped.
And then…
"What?"
"Joo Woori!" Park Seoham didn't mean to yell, but he found himself raising his voice as soon as Joo Woori picked up the call. "Is that how you talk to your boss? 'What?' Have you lost your mind?"
