Chapter 19 - Chapter 19 Status

As the person involved, Sam clearly knew that he was the one who provoked the other party on the field first.

Now, all signs indicated that he was in the wrong, especially since he hadn't expected Mike to actually bring a medical injury report.

Sam, who was inherently a bully, was bluffed by the false impression Mike intentionally created, and he stammered in a flustered voice, "I...I agree to a settlement. Please don't call the police."

As his words came out, the scene immediately quieted down. As the school representative, Principal Tom also breathed a sigh of relief.

It was well known that a serious campus incident being exposed was not a good thing.

On the other side, Greer hadn't really believed the school could expel Mike. He just wanted to use his son's injury to gain some sympathy and make the other party pay more money.

As a result, seeing his son so disappointing, he cursed under his breath, "Useless!"

Then, disregarding Sam's feelings, he slammed the door and left the principal's office alone.

Sam, the child without a father's affection, was left alone to face the watchful gazes of Mike and the others, feeling his body shrink a few sizes.

He looked at Principal Tom and cautiously asked, "Principal, in my current state, can I take a few more days of sick leave?"

Principal Tom looked at his pitiful appearance with some sympathy and said, "Go, child. I've specially approved your sick leave. Come back when your injuries are healed."

With things reaching this point, it also marked a perfect end to the conflict between Mike and Sam.

After Sam and his father left, Mike also hooked his finger and picked up the several light orbs they had left behind.

Physical Attribute +1

Strength Attribute +5

Injury Resistance Attribute +3...

The main strength attribute was left by Greer when he left, which indicated that he was quite angry today.

Then, Mike, feeling lighthearted, accompanied Connie out of the office.

Facing the students' expectant eyes in the corridor, Connie happily said, "Thank you for your concern, Mike is fine now. We won!"

"Hooray~" xN

The students still remaining there were waiting for this good news. They immediately cheered, as if justice had triumphed over evil.

Principal Tom heard the cheers outside the door, shook his head helplessly, then pushed open the door and shouted, "Aren't you all going to class? What grade are you in...?"

With the principal's angry roar, the students in the corridor quickly scattered completely.

The school once again returned to its usual calm.

Connie also smiled and waved to Mike, then left the school gracefully.

After Mike saw Connie off, he turned around and found Lina, a classmate, and several other girls hiding nearby, still not having left.

So, Mike returned to the classroom surrounded by these Mike Supporter Club girls.

Originally, as a top student, Mike was naturally ostracized by his classmates. However, after this fight, the boys in the class looked at him with a bit more kindness.

Only Sheldon was a little unhappy because Mike had disrupted his studies during class time.

However, Mike's performance this time also made him famous in one go, officially promoting him to a prominent figure in the school.

During lunchtime, Lina led several Mike Supporter Club girls and approached Mike again, inviting him to have lunch together.

In school, popularity represented status.

Mike accepted Lina's invitation, and the group swept by in a grand manner, clearly becoming the most beautiful sight on campus.

Tam, who was hiding in the library and enjoying his packed lunch with Sheldon, looked at Mike's glorious appearance and envied, "I wish I could also have so many girls like me."

Sheldon glanced at Mike's departing back and said disdainfully, "Being with those simple-minded people won't make Mike's lunch more delicious."

Tam looked at Sheldon in surprise, thinking to himself: Can Sheldon only see the lunch and not the girls trying to curry favor with Mike?

In the school cafeteria, Cady saw so many people surrounding Mike and didn't go over to join the fun.

She knew about the troubles Mike had been having these past few days, but being unable to help, she could only silently care from the sidelines.

Of course, also because Cady was becoming more confident, she had made two new friends in class these past two days.

One was Janis, a punk girl who didn't like men, and the other was Damien, a sissy who didn't like women.

Both of them were also unwelcome in other groups in the class due to their respective quirks.

Watching Cady continuously staring at the dazzling Mike in the crowd, the sissy Damien said, "If you like him, you have to seize the opportunity, if you don't act..."

At this point, Damien made a shy expression: "I wonder if he likes men."

"NO~" Cady shivered, warning, "Mike likes girls."

After Janis, the punk girl, gave Damien a look of disdain, she said to the agitated Cady, "Damien is disgusting, but he's right. If you like someone, you have to make a move quickly..."

Then, Janis indicated a spot and continued, "I heard that Queen Bee Regina is very interested in Mike."

Cady looked in the direction Janis pointed and indeed saw the three members of The Plastics. Among them, Regina was staring at Mike in the crowd with a fervent gaze.

On the other side, although Regina had her usual smile on her face, she was quietly cursing, "Those damned b*tches, how dare they approach Mike, they're like flies..."

After that, she said to Karen, who had wavy hair, beside her, "Have you found out who Mike is closest to among the girls at school?"

Karen replied in a low voice, "Mike is very disciplined at school, but he is relatively close to Cady, the transfer student in our class."

"Cady? Who's that?" Regina, who liked to be beautiful alone, asked in confusion.

So, Karen had no choice but to point in a direction for Regina, feeling a headache.

Regina turned her head and happened to meet Cady's eyes. Both girls maintained their smiles and then simultaneously turned their gazes away.

Regina, on her side, said indifferently, "So it's that little b*tch from the countryside. From now on, you two pay more attention to her for me, and report any situation to me immediately."

Karen and Gretchen could only nod in agreement at this.

On the other side, after Cady retracted her gaze, she felt pressure.

However, thinking that Mike would be visiting her house on the weekend, a smile appeared on her face again.

And she decided in her heart that she must leave a good impression on Mike this weekend.

Mike, on the other hand, didn't know that two twelfth grade girls had already developed a conflict because of him.

After having lunch with Lina, he chatted casually with her about some everyday things during the afternoon self-study class.

Lina was now not only the leader of the Mike Supporter Club, but with her outstanding beauty, she had also been voted one of the most popular girls in the eleventh grade.

Of course, Mike was willing to associate with her not just because of her appearance.

While they were chatting, Mike also picked up several thought attributes from her.

It proved that Mike was also a gentleman who valued inner beauty.

And during the afternoon outdoor exercise class, Mike also took off the bandage around his neck and rejoined football training.
