Sera's eyes flew wide, and her fingers clamped down hard on the back of his neck-half shock, half instinct. Heat flooded her cheeks, though she'd never admit how her body tightened at the thought of what he was implying.
"Are you insane?! Let me go-put me down!"
"Not a chance." Lucian's grip locked around her, pulling her flush against him. The soft weight of her breasts pressed to his chest, and he felt his pulse kick sharp and fast.
She pushed at his shoulders, weak and breathless. "Lucian! We're out here-have some shame!"
He ignored her, letting small waves lap over their legs as he held her closer. "No one's around but us. The twins know better than to interrupt."
