Jay's POV:
I woke up to the sound of arguing. When I opened the door, I saw all of them complaining to Miss Cindy.
"No, exercise is a must," she said.
"At least let me meet Jay," Keifer said.
Miss Cindy shook her head. I hid behind the gate and peeked.
I saw him pouting.
Did he just... Oh my God.
I covered my mouth to stop myself from laughing.
Soon, they all left for jogging. I brushed my teeth and walked towards where Sir, Ma'am, and Kuya were sitting.
"Good morning," I greeted everyone.
"Good morning," they all greeted me back.
"I am going for jogging too," I said.
Kuya raised an eyebrow.
"You?" he asked.
I proudly nodded and walked out.
I couldn't see them. Maybe they had already gone too far.
I started running to catch up with them, but I didn't know which route they had taken.
There were two paths in front of me.
Okay, I'll count till ten. Whichever side my finger stops at, I'll go that way.
I started counting, and my finger stopped on the left side.

Sir Alvin's house is a little far from the main road, and this area is mostly filled with trees, almost like a forest.

He stepped back because of my sudden action.
I quickly started running, trying to reach Sir Alvin's house.
I was almost there.
I was about to knock when one of Ram's men came.
They grabbed me and slammed me hard against the door.
"You bitch! How dare you!" one of Ram's men shouted before pushing me onto the floor.
"What th—"
Miss Cindy opened the door, and her eyes widened.
She quickly grabbed the man's hair and started fighting with him.
Sir Alvin and Kuya rushed towards us.
They looked behind me.
I turned around and saw many more men approaching.
There were so many of them, and Ram was walking in the middle.
Kuya and Sir Alvin ran towards them and started fighting.
I need to tell Keifer.
I rushed inside and tried to find my phone.
"She's inside!" one of the men shouted.
I quickly hid behind the sofa, trying my best not to make any noise.
"You really think you can hide?" a man said from behind me.
I quickly punched him and his partner.
I started fighting with them.
Then I heard a familiar voice.
"Drew, why did you tell us to come the—"
Ci-N stopped in the middle of his sentence.
Then all I could hear were the sounds of fighting.
"Where is Jay?!" Keifer shouted while fighting the men and searching for me.
Soon, he found me.
He ran towards me, punched the man, and both of them fell to the ground.
"Are you okay?" Keifer asked as he gently grabbed my arm.
"Keif... my baby... my ba... they... they'll kill my baby again... Keif..." I said between breaths.
Then my vision went dark.

When I woke up, I looked around.
Keifer was sitting beside me, holding my hand with a worried expression.
"Jay, you're awake," he said.
I tried to sit up, and Keifer helped me.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
I nodded.
Then I heard shouting from outside.
Keifer and I looked at each other before walking out.
As we reached the living room, I saw anger burning in Kuya's eyes as he held Drew by the collar.
"Kuya, what happened?" I asked.
Keifer rushed forward and made him release Drew's collar.
"It's your fault, you bastard! I had my doubts about you for a few days!" Kuya shouted.
Doubts?
"Kuya, what happened?" I asked again.
"Let him explain," Kuya said, pointing at Drew.
Drew looked terrified.
Tears streamed down his face, and his whole body was shaking.
"I'm sorry... I didn't have any other option. I had a huge debt, and I couldn't repay it. Then I talked to some shakeholders. They said they would help me, but in return, I had to do their work. They kept giving me orders, and I obeyed. One day, I heard them talking to Ram. They were planning something against Keifer. I tried to listen, but they caught me. They threatened me to keep an eye on Jay and Keifer and tell them everything. Otherwise, they would take my sister and sell her. I was so scared... but I only shared a little information..." he said while shaking.
"You forgot one more thing... the pregnancy," Kuya said.
I frowned.
Pregnancy?
"What?" I whispered.
"I'm sorry... When Jay went to the doctor with Kerein for her check-up, I was there buying medicine for my mother. A few of Ram's men were with me too. They saw Jay with Kerein and tried to overhear the conversation. When Jay said she had pregnancy symptoms, we were shocked, but a nurse caught us before we could hear everything. From that day, all of Ram's men believed Jay was pregnant, and they planned to harm her and kill the baby. So when the incident with Sato happened, I was worried about Jay. I paid the doctor some money and asked him to tell everyone that Jay had been pregnant and that the baby was gone....when doctor tell you this Ram's men were there too, so they heard everything. After that, I kept trying to convince them not to harm Jay because she had nothing to do with it. But they crossed the line. They told me to give them Jay's address. I refused at first, but then they sent me a photo of my house. They said they were standing outside and that if I didn't tell them where Jay lived, they would take my sister. So... I agreed. I'm sorry..." Drew said.
We all had tears in our eyes.
I know he was wrong.
He should have asked for help.
But I could also understand why he did it.
Keifer grabbed Drew by the collar.
"How dare you play with our emotions! Do you even know what happened to Jay after she heard about the baby? Huh? At least you should have told us!" he shouted and was about to punch him.
Before anyone could stop him, Yuri rushed over and held Keifer from behind.
"Relax," Yuri said as he pulled Keifer away from Drew.

He gently laid me down on the bed and sat beside me.
"I know it hurts..." he said softly.
I held his hand and slowly drifted off to sleep.

When I woke up again, I didn't hear a single sound.
I looked around.
Where is Keifer?
Just then, Miss Cindy came in carrying a bowl of soup.
"Jay, how are you feeling now?" she asked.
"I'm fine. Where is Keifer?" I asked.
"He's outside talking to your cousin," she replied.
"Wait, let me call him."
She called Keifer.
Soon, Keifer entered.
Behind him came Kuya and Yuri.
"Jay, how are you feeling now?" Keifer asked.
"I'm fine. What happened to Drew?" I asked.
"He left with the others," Keifer replied before feeding me a spoonful of soup.
I drank a little.
"You don't need to feed her. I'm here," Kuya said as he snatched the bowl from Keifer's hand.
Keifer glared at him but didn't say anything.
After all, he was also a little afraid of Kuya.
Kuya started feeding me while gently caressing my hair.
