Chapter 8 – The Prince Watches, Learns, and Evolves
Vegeta approached Zhou Fan silently.
"I have surpassed the restraint of rage," he said.
"But you… you do not fight like a Saiyan. You fight like… law itself."
Zhou Fan did not look at him.
"You survived," he said simply.
"Most cannot."
Vegeta's jaw tightened.
"I will not bow."
"Good," Zhou Fan replied.
"Then learn."
Zhou Fan demonstrated a simple motion: a flick of the wrist. Ki surged outward, not as attack, but as reality realignment. Rocks lifted, wind shifted, air thickened—not destroyed, just rearranged.
Vegeta nearly collapsed trying to mimic it.
"Impossible… I am strong, but this… this is not strength," he thought.
"It is law. It is absolute."
Vegeta's training took on a new tone. Not rage, not pride, not rivalry—it became survival under a sovereign standard.
