Recall their familiar faces, recall their familiar voices, here Solar stands before Lunar, speaking of his class essay about loneliness, as if everything was just yesterday.
Solar: It was exhausted to teach a problem class, with many problem students to guide, many problems to solve, and many educational works to do.
Agrees Lunar, and even the school bell agrees, knowing how exhausted it is to teach a problem class, but there's some parts of her thinks differently.
Lunar: It was a more than remarkable accomplishment to save a problem student, with support to get him out of the pain of sea, guidance to guide him back to the shore, and sympathy to give him the faith on this world he once disappointed.
Solar: One problem student can give me headache, two problem students can give me a rope on the tree, and three problem students can give me a bullet in my head.
Lunar: How many problem students were in your class?
Solar: I was more disappointed than any of my problem students, because in my class there's thirty of them with different problems.
Lunar: I can't imagine how did you teach thirty problem students in your class?
Solar: It was exhausted to teach a problem class, as I told you so. But there's always a method for each problem.
Lunar: Methods are always more than problems. It takes the right method to solve the corresponding problem. The question is how did you find their problems?
Solar: Before the class, I'd like to assign them an essay about different problems that they might be struggling with. I encouraged them to write down each other's problem, so that I could be able to offer them support and guidance.
Lunar: What did you encourage them to write down their problems honestly?
Solar: When I came in classroom, the first thing was not to tell them turn on their books, it was to ask them a question about their experiences.
Lunar: What kind of question was it?
Solar: When I stood in front of them on the teaching platform, I could not just see which student might be absent in this class, but also I could see which student was different from the others. I glimpsed upon their familiar faces, upon the ones sitting at the corner, upon the loneliest one among them. I asked of the question, which was how many of you had been in loneliness?
Lunar: How many of them had been in loneliness?
Solar: The ones sitting at the corner raised their hands first, then the ones sitting at the last two rows raised their hands, and the rest of them continued to raise their hands.
Lunar: All of them?
Solar: All of them had been in loneliness, and I was just one of them.
Lunar: You had found one of their problems, that all of them had been in loneliness, and some of them were still in loneliness. The next thing was to help the rest of them to overcome their loneliness, wasn't it?
Solar: About three thing I was absolutely positive about them. Firstly, all of them had been in loneliness, and some of them were still in loneliness. Secondly, some of them could overcome their loneliness, so could the rest of them. Thirdly, the reasons to cause them being in loneliness were left to be found out.
Lunar: What did you get the reasons found out?
Solar: I assigned them an essay about what did you know about your loneliness.
Lunar: May you please tell me some of your students' works?
Solar: Loneliness is when there is nobody you can care for or nobody who cares for you. It happens, when you lost a family, a friend or a pet. You used to talk with your family, your friend or your pet, but when your family, your friend or your pet is no longer there for you, what's there for you is loneliness. Remember loneliness only comes in their absent hours. Whenever you are in loneliness, you can talk with a friend you trust to cope with loneliness. Spider girl.
Lunar: Spider girl?
Solar: Spider girl was bitten by a spider, possessed with spider's flexibility and ability. She was in loneliness, when she lost her favorite spider.
Lunar: The next, please.
Solar: Loneliness is more terrible than cancer. Cancer decays your flesh, and loneliness swallows your soul. Loneliness is like a shadow that follows you anywhere. Whether you are alone or in the crowds, you would feel lonely, when you don't feel understood.
My heart was stolen, my soul was swallowed, and I myself was in loneliness. I have no more feeling left for you to hurt. I am here, but the rest of parts of me is there. You can see me, but what you see is just my flesh. Lonely prince.
Lunar: Lonely prince?
Solar: Lonely prince was the loneliest one among them from a extremely tiny planet, with a scarlet rose as his companion. There was always a spiritual connection between them that ignored time and space, and connected them, whether they were together or apart. But one day lonely prince was in loneliness, when their connection was lost.
Lunar: Had he overcome his loneliness yet?
Solar: He was the last one in my class to overcome his loneliness. I encouraged him to talk with his classmates, but he looked lonelier, when he was neglected by the others, isolated by the whole world. Sometimes I saw he walk in the crowds, but I can only see his flesh not fitting in the crowds. When the others walked in twos or in groups, only lonely prince walked alone with his own shadow.
Lunar: Someone said loneliness is when there is nobody you can care for or nobody who cares for you; someone said loneliness is more terrible than cancer; someone said loneliness is a sad feeling that comes to you, when nobody comes to you.
Solar: Who said the last line?
Lunar: Me. What did you know about loneliness?
Solar: Loneliness is when I was here, but you were there, as far as from moon to earth.
