"Is it not better we let him die on his own?" I whispered, staring at the camera in front of me. "He is really in a bad condition right now."
I had to facetime Delihah and explain why tonight was not the best time. After everything that had happened today, it would be better if I lay low for now.
Or maybe I was just scared of killing him.
"Once you do it, you don't have to worry about your safety," her voice came from the other end. The video call did not show her face.
I could see her moving around, doing what only the goddess knows, yet she never came into view.
"So I have to kill him?" I asked quietly.
"Yes, you should go now," Delihah urged. "This is the best time to strike. You have to do it. There is no compromise in this case."
