In the video, Son Goku approached Gohan and told him it was time for him to take the stage. This decision was met with immediate, fierce objections from the Z Fighters. Krillin and Piccolo spoke up to stop him, with Piccolo especially adamant that Gohan should not be forced into such a brutal fight.

However, Goku calmly explained that Gohan's hidden strength had grown beyond anything they could imagine. He reminded them that Gohan had been a warrior since early childhood, while at the same age, Goku himself knew nothing of the world.

Goku then asked Gohan a crucial question: had he struggled to keep up with the speed and intensity of the previous battle? Gohan's reply sent a shockwave through the viewers. He admitted he felt both Cell and his father had been holding back. Goku smiled and revealed a startling truth—he had been fighting at his absolute peak.

The only reason Gohan thought he was holding back was that Goku's full power was nothing special in Gohan's eyes. Gohan's silence confirmed that his father was right; the boy's potential had already eclipsed the legendary Super Saiyan.

"Go, Gohan, go and reclaim the peace," Goku urged. "Haven't you always wanted to be a scholar?" Accepting his father's words, Gohan discarded his weighted cape and stepped before the bio-android. As he began to roar, a golden aura erupted from his body with such violent pressure that even Vegeta stood frozen in disbelief. The Prince of Saiyans gripped his fist, wondering how a mere child had achieved such a massive level of Ki.

However, after Gohan finished powering up, Goku did something that left everyone across the Wanjie Multiverse speechless. He asked Krillin for a Senzu Bean, but instead of eating it, he tossed it to Cell.

Goku stated that since Cell was exhausted from their previous bout, it wouldn't be fair to fight Gohan in a weakened state. Across countless dimensions, viewers were left questioning Goku's sanity. Was Gohan truly his son? Who would actively sabotage their own child by healing a monster?

The Z Fighters were equally horrified.

Krillin: "I have to say, Goku, this is going way too far. I know you love a fair fight—I saw you let Vegeta and Frieza walk away—but you can't throw your own son under the bus like this!"

Yamcha: "Goku, this is just wrong."

Tien: "He's still a child, Goku. You're putting far too much weight on his shoulders."

Piccolo: "Did you even ask Gohan if he wanted fairness? You're imposing your own martial arts obsession on a boy who doesn't even want to fight!"

Chi-Chi: "Goku! You've gone too far this time!"

While those who knew Goku were outraged, the rest of the multiverse watched in stunned silence. To them, aiding the enemy while your son's life was on the line seemed like madness. What if Gohan failed? The entire planet would be destroyed.

Vegeta: "Kakarot is acting like a true Saiyan. We don't care for sentimental family ties. If the brat isn't strong enough to win at the enemy's best, he's worthless."

Bulma: "Don't you dare compare yourself to Goku! He's just being naive, but you're just cold! Poor Trunks is so unlucky to have a father like you."

Vegeta: "Hmph. Trunks is my blood, but he should have checked who his parents were before being born. It's your fault for being so persistent back then."

Bulma: "Believe me, if I knew then what I know now, I never would have started it!"

Watching the banter, many felt a deep wave of sympathy for the time-traveling warrior. Meanwhile, Cell consumed the Senzu Bean, his stamina and Ki instantly restoring to their peak. The battle began, but Gohan's heart wasn't in it.

He spent the opening minutes merely dodging and blocking, his face filled with sorrow rather than battle lust. He told Cell he didn't want to kill him, and that he finally understood his father's plan. Gohan knew that when he lost control of his temper, a terrifying power awakened within him.

Cell, however, mistook Gohan's honesty for a desperate bluff. Driven by his Saiyan cells, Cell decided to provoke the boy, wanting to witness this "limit-breaking" power for himself. He began a systematic assault, grabbing Gohan and crushing him in a brutal bear hug. Throughout the agony, Goku stood by with a relieved smile, watching as if the torture was exactly what was needed.

Akira, watching the events unfold with the tactical clarity of a transmigrator, couldn't help but note the irony. After learning that Gohan's power was tied to his rage, Cell began a series of self-destructive provocations.

Goku watched with satisfaction, unaware that this decision would eventually lead to a boomerang effect that would hit him directly in the head. Cell's arrogance was a mirror image of Vegeta's earlier mistake of allowing Cell to reach his Perfect Form.

It was clear that Cell had inherited the worst traits of both Goku and Vegeta—the tendency to play with fire just to see it burn. It was a stroke of luck he didn't have the pragmatic cells of Future Trunks, or the Z Fighters would have been finished long ago.
