"It is a profound stroke of luck that Universe 7 emerged victorious and that Android 17 remained as the final warrior on the stage."
"Had Universe 11 secured the win, leaving Jiren as the sole survivorâŠ"
"The very moment he voiced his desire, not only would his wish have been denied, but it would have triggered the total annihilation of Universe 11."
The narrator's voice resonated across the dimensions, carrying an ominous weight.
"After all, Jiren's wish was born of isolation; it was a plea for his own past, not a selfless request to restore the erased universes."
These words struck Vermoud and Jiren like a physical blow, leaving them drenched in a cold sweat. They had never imagined that the Great Zen-Oh's test of character extended even to the final wish. The realization was chillingâvictory for Universe 11 would have been a death sentence. To think that their survival hinged entirely on their own defeat was a bitter, yet life-saving irony. Even if Jiren had achieved the power to transcend time and space, a wish made in selfishness would have rendered his entire struggle meaningless.
"In truth, Jiren sought to uncover the shadow that murdered his parents and his master, Gicchin, in his youth," the narrator continued, delving into the tragedy that forged the Pride Trooper. "Betrayed by his peers who fled in the face of that overwhelming darkness, Jiren abandoned faith in others, choosing to believe only in the absolute nature of strength."
The voice then touched upon the whispers of the Wanjie Multiverse. "Some conspiracy theorists suggest the killer was actually Vermoud himself, but such a motive lacks logic. Vermoud and Gicchin were close friends; the identity of that shadow remains an enigma to this day."
Akira, watching the screen with the tactical perspective of a transmigrator, recalled similar theories from his past life. He knew the fan fiction debates well, but the reality was simpler: the shadow's story remained untold.
He couldn't help but feel a flicker of annoyance at the direction Dragon Ball Super had taken under Toyotarou after Toriyama's era. To him, the arcs that followed the Tournament of PowerâMoro, Granolah, and Gasâfelt fundamentally flawed.
How could Moro, a wizard once sealed by a Grand Supreme Kai who fell to Kid Buu, suddenly push the likes of Ultra Instinct Goku and Ultra Ego Vegeta to their limits? It felt illogical. Then there were Granolah and Gas, using Dragon Balls to simply wish for the title of 'Strongest in the Universe.' To a strategist like Akira, such shortcuts felt like a mockery of the Saiyan journey.
As the video documenting the heights of Ultra Instinct concluded, a sense of relief washed over the myriad worlds. Universe 7 had won, and the fallen universes were restoredâa rare, perfect ending.
Kakashi Hatake adjusted his mask, leaning back in thought. "Speaking of which, now that Frieza has been granted a new lease on life, will he actually become an ally to Son Goku and the others?"
Kurosaki Ichigo, resting his massive blade against his shoulder, shook his head. "Even if he doesn't join them, I doubt he'll be looking for a fight anytime soon. Not after seeing what's out there."
Duanmu Yan, adjusting his gear, added, "The fires of the Tournament of Power change a man. Frieza is bound to be different now, right?"
"Impossible!"
Aboard his sleek, hovering spaceship, Frieza's scream echoed through the corridors. The mere suggestion of reformation made his Ki flare with indignation. He was the Emperor of the Universe, the Golden Frieza! He would never lower himself to being a mere companion to a common Saiyan like Monkey Goku. Yet, despite his rage, he hesitated to post a rebuttal.
If the future videos showed him acting alongside the Z-Fighters, he would look like a fool. He remained silent, desperately praying that his future self maintained his cold, villainous dignity.
In another corner of the multiverse, Zhang Chulan typed quickly. "Do you think the uploader has more? Is there anything that can actually top Ultra Instinct?"
Tien Shinhan replied with a sense of grim anticipation. "That depends entirely on Akira. If he has more footage, then the limits of the Saiyan race may still be far beyond our imagination."
By now, it was clear to everyone that Akira was the undisputed master of these broadcasts. The data didn't lie; his videos were the gold standard of the transformation event. As the viewers held their breath, the screen flickered to life once more.
"A transformation achievable only by a Saiyan who appears once every thousand yearsâThe Legendary Super Saiyan!"
The title sent a shockwave through Vegeta. The Saiyan Prince's eyes widened as he gripped the armrest of his chair. "Once every thousand years? That should be the standard Super Saiyan transformation! What is this 'Legendary' variant?"
A seed of doubt began to grow. Vegeta had always believed himself to be the pinnacle of Saiyan potential, a prodigy born with a power level that defied history. If there was another form, a 'true' legend that surpassed his own golden light, what did that make him? With a mixture of wounded pride and intense curiosity, the Prince of all Saiyans focused his gaze on the screen, waiting to see the true face of the legend.
