"Mmm," he murmured against her palm, his tongue flicking against her skin.
She jerked her hand back with a startled squeal.
"What do you think you're doing?" she demanded again, her tone firm despite the heat rising to her face.
"I'm biting what belongs to me," he said shamelessly.
A deep blush spread across her cheeks.
"Stop it!" she snapped, exasperated.
He only smirked.
"What?" he asked, feigning innocence.
She shot him a glare before quickly snatching the silver band from his hand.
Grabbing his fingers, she slid the ring onto his finger with more force than necessary.
"You'd better show that to any woman who dares to flirt with you," she said sharply.
His smirk only deepened.
"And if I don't?" he teased.
Her eyes narrowed.
"You really don't want to find out," she muttered.
His hand came down suddenly, squeezing her roughly, drawing a yelp from her as her fingers dug into his shoulders.
