The morning sun spilled over the resort, golden and bright, and the group gathered outside for breakfast. Everyone was laughing, joking, still buzzing from the previous night's bonfire and the cabin mischief.
Jay walked toward the table, Keifer's jacket hanging over her shoulders, hair messy, slightly tousled, eyes sparkling with mischief. The moment the students saw them together, the whispers started.
"Ohhh, you two were loud last night," someone said, snickering.
Another added, grinning, "Seriously… didn't think a cabin could handle that much… energy."
Jay raised an eyebrow, smirk teasing, glancing at Keifer. He was beside her, stoic as ever, but the faint flush on his cheeks gave him away.
She leaned in slightly, whispering so only he could hear, "I told you… I like showing you off."
He growled low, playful and dangerous, brushing his hand along her waist. "You think that's showing off?"
The crowd laughed again, teasing, but Jay just laughed with them—confident, victorious. She looked around, meeting her friends' eyes.
Sarina, Percy, and the others nudged her knowingly.
"Congratulations," Percy said, smirking, "for finally giving him exactly what he wanted."
Jay chuckled, shrugging innocently, voice playful but proud. "What can I say? He's very persuasive."
Keifer caught her smirk and pulled her slightly closer, low voice for her alone:
"And you love it."
She leaned into him, brushing a strand of hair across his chest. "Maybe a little," she admitted.
The teasing from the group continued, but they didn't care. They were a unit, unstoppable, untouchable. And every whisper, every laugh, every glance from friends or strangers only made their chemistry shine brighter.
Even Ella, standing at a distance, couldn't hide the flicker of jealousy in her eyes.
Jay smirked knowingly, brushing her hand against Keifer's, fingers intertwining. "Everyone sees now," she whispered, "and I'm not stopping."
Keifer's grin darkened, a mix of possessiveness and pride. "Good," he murmured, voice low. "Because no one else can have you… only me."
And as they sat together, laughter and teasing swirling around them, everyone already knew: they were together, bold, and untouchable.
